The man, the myth…. the legend that is Scotty Bowman hops back on the podcast for todays episode to talk some hockey with Bob and John. The three start the show with a discussion on the surprisingly successful starts from New Jersey and Boston before shifting focus to all of the new coaching changes throughout the league and the positive effects they’ve had for their respective teams. We also discuss the evolution of player and goalie usage in todays NHL, the stacked Atlantic Division and much more with Mr.Bowman as we kick off another week of sports talk.

A good ol’ classic Friday roundtable to end off this week of podcasts as we bring in Arash Madani and David Amber to go over some of sports biggest headlines of the week. The four spend some time on the NFL as we try to decipher who the “great" quarterbacks are in a league full of “good” ones while also talking about what teams we expect to make a deep playoff run. We also discuss the passing of Leafs legend Borje Salming and reflect on the impact he made in Toronto before spending the rest of the episode debating the performance of Canada’s Mens National team and their future in the FIFA World Cup.

When we need to talk some soccer (football), James Sharman is the man to call. The three reflect on Canada’s loss to Belgium on todays episode as we pick James’ brain on everything he saw in yesterdays match. From what impressed him to what the Canadians need to improve upon, we look at what’s next for Canada in their first World Cup appearance in 36 years. Before we go, the three spend some time discussing the decline of Cristiano Ronaldo’s game and the surprising upsets we’ve seen so far in Qatar.

The voices of Raptors radio join the show as Eric Smith and PAUL JONES break down the start of this year’s NBA season for the Toronto Raptors and the rest of the league. We talk about Toronto’s injury problems so far this year, Nick Nurse’s comments regarding Gary Trent Junior, the inconsistent usage of Malachi Flynn, the emergence of rookie Christian Koloko and the progression we’ve seen from OG Anunoby. To end the show the four go over some other story lines emerging story lines throughout the rest of the NBA.

The General Manager of the NHL’s newest franchise, Ron Francis, stops by the podcast after a hot start to the Krakens second season in the National Hockey League. Ron talks to us about Seattle's surprising success early on in the year as we discuss what players he’s liked so far and overall what players he’s looking for when building his team. We also get into the  situation with last years 4th overall pick Shane Wright. Ron gets us up to speed on his thoughts about Wright's development and what we should expect from Shane going forward.

Sportsnet's SHI DAVIDI joins us after attending this years MLB GM Meetings. Shi talks to us about what he observed in Las Vegas, breaks down the recent Jays trade and gives us an idea on what we should expect regarding the Toronto Blue Jays and who they have their sights set on in the free agent market this off season.

Ending the week off with a good ol’ fashioned roundtable, we bring in Mike Zeisberger & Darren Pang for some hockey talk. League parity is the main topic for todays roundtable as the four talk about why they think the bad teams are getting better and question why some supposed Stanley Cup contenders are struggling to win games. We also spend some time talking about Vegas Golden Knights forward Phil Kessel after playing his 1000th consecutive game last week.

Continuing the trend of two interviews for the price of one today as Bob and John welcome Mark Kirton back to the podcast to talk about the Toronto Maple Leafs tribute to the great Borje Salming and the Hall of Famers diagnosis with ALS. After Mark, we bring in Dallas Stars owner Tom Gaglardi about his hockey team and wha it’s like owning a Texas based NHL franchise.

Another information packed episode of the podcast today. Bob and John bring in BRIAN COOPER for the first half of the podcast to give his opinion on the legal issues surrounding Hockey Canada and to address the recent remarks made by former president of the organization, Bob Nicholson. We then welcome Pinball Clemons to the show to give us some info on the Toronto Argonauts heading into the Grey Cup as the three preview the big game.

Football is on the go today as Bob and John bring in two separate guests to cover everything going in the world of football on both sides of the border. We first talk to our good friend Pat Leonard about the surprisingly good football coming out of the NFC East before sending it over to Bob Irving for a breakdown on the Grey Cup featuring the Toronto Argonauts and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
