In this week’s episode, I chat with Marko from the Golfholics YouTube Channel. We talk about the rapid growth of their channel and what it takes to grow a successful YouTube channel. About the Golfholics YouTube Channel:   Mike and Marko started the channel in early 2017 with the goal of getting more people into golf by making it fun, upbeat and entertaining to watch.  Both Mike and Marko are small business owners based in San Diego, CA and have known each other for over 12 years.  Being passionate golfers they wanted to share their love for the game which spawned the Golfholics Youtube channel.  They focus on a golf niche called "course vlogs" where they go play a round of golf and film every shot.  They often feature guests to join them on the course and have even played with fans of the channel.  Golf to them is about having fun and making memories on the course.   Support the show on Patreon here for day-to-day interaction with myself and the community on discord. In this week’s episode, I chat with Tim Stiffler-Dean. We talk about his two gaming (Minecraft) related YouTube channels. We also talk about the difficulty in growing a gaming channel and how he feels creators are selling themselves short. About Tim: Tim Stiffler-Dean, a.k.a. stifflered (stiff-lurd), is a Minecraft YouTuber with a vision for greater things. He uses his struggles through his childhood and young adult life to now empower people and bring together communities in the way he'd always desired in his early years. A simple act of kindness in the form of a cup of coffee bought by a stranger while he was homeless changed his life 11 years ago, and since then he has pursued showing that same kindness to others, including giving a TEDx Talk on that life-changing event. In this week’s episode, I chat with Jon from the JonThePotter YouTube channel. About Jon: Jon Schmidt is an entrepreneur and adventurer. Jon bought a small coffee shop called Mocha Monkey when he was 21 years old and now 8 years later there are 3 locations, over 70 employees, and Mocha Monkey has been voted the best coffee shop in Minnesota. Jon spends his time now primarily as a pottery, making cups, bowls, plates, etc. to sell and use at the coffeeshops. Jon started his Youtube channel, Jonthepotter, in February of 2018 and in 7 months has surpassed 5k subscribers, 1 million watch minutes, and growing rapidly. Starting with little to no video editing experience Jon has created a community around art, pottery, fun videos, inspiration, business, and "a just go for it" attitude that has amassed hundreds of thousands of views!
