But this leaves out meaningful thought about the plain fact that we enjoy economic and social privileges, and we spend our lives seeking more and more of it. The rights of trans people (and the LGBTQ community in general) often gets talked about, but it's rarer to hear directly from the people themselves. It's even rarer to hear from Asian Americans in these communities, especially the trans community.
