Join us in this interview with medical device roboticist Axel Krieger to learn how his team developed a fully autonomous robot that has been shown to produce surgical results superior to those produced by human surgeons. Axel is an assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University where he leads a team of students, scientists, and engineers in the research and development of robotic tools and laparoscopic devices.
