Amy grew up in Denver, CO the youngest of four preacher's daughters and, after graduating in 2003 with her B.A. in Biblical Studies, moved to Nashville, TN where she independently produced and released two albums and toured with Jennifer Knapp and Derek Webb. After a near-death childbirth experience in 2011, she and her family moved to Minneapolis where she spent the next five years as a stay-home mom, worship leader, and singer-for-hire.      In 2017, after a six year hiatus from creating and performing original music, she and her husband fulfilled a decade-long dream of co-creating and -producing a collaborative album as the duo Fireworks on Ferris Wheels for which they enjoyed critical acclaim and indie radio success.
