Tearing Us Apart: How Abortion Harms Everything and Solves Nothing
Violence begets violence. And so, the intimate violence of abortion, which severs the most natural bond in the world between a mother and a child, would of course create a more brutal society where innocent human life is dismissed as a choice. At this moment in American history where Roe v. Wade may be coming to an end, the struggle to end the civil rights issue of our day—abortion—is far from over. The culture of death has lied to Americans—most especially and cruelly women—and, as Ryan T. Anderson and Alexandra DeSanctis put it in their new book, Tearing Us Apart, abortion is a poison in our country’s bloodstream that hurts, not helps. Women, and certainly innocent, voiceless unborn babies, deserve better than abortion.Join us as Anderson and DeSanctis share how we can change hearts and minds to come to treasure motherhood and the life in a mother’s womb. A book signing will follow the discussion. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Title IX in the Crosshairs: The 50th Anniversary of Women’s Equality in Education
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 fundamentally reshaped the country, prohibiting discrimination based on sex in any educational program or activity that receives federal funding. Once considered a feminist triumph, Title IX leveled the educational field for women, allowing them educational, athletic, and career opportunities never before possible. Best known for its applications to sports and sexual harassment, the law covers a wide range of American education at both the K-12 and secondary level. But on the 50th anniversary of Title IX, the Biden administration is poised to eviscerate long-standing protections for women and girls by expanding “sex” to include sexual orientation and gender identity. Schools would be forced to open housing, locker rooms, sports teams, admissions, and other sex-specific offerings to the opposite sex. And this is just one of the changes the Biden administration has proposed with its new rule.Join us as a panel of experts and advocates discusses how the gains of the women’s movement and women’s equality and opportunity are teetering on the brink of erasure, and hear strategies for fighting back. Confucius Institutes, once a strategic part of China’s overseas influence campaign, have almost disappeared from the United States: 104 of 118 have shut down. But the demise of Confucius Institutes has not deterred the Chinese government, which has persuaded American colleges and universities to reopen and rebrand Confucius Institute programs under new names. Price Controls on Fuel Would Be Disastrous for Americans
