Energies rise and develop after every New Moon and then reach a peak of higher awareness with the following Full Moon. The Aquarius Full Moon at 22 degrees on August 15 is an integration point of the 8/8 portal, the Venus Star Point, a Finger of God aspect, Mercury leaving the shadow zone, and what has grown for you since the Leo New Moon. Over the next week, Mars enters Virgo on August 18 and Venus enters Virgo on August 21, shifting how we approach the tasks at hand and relationship needs. Venus has a unique journey in the cosmos as she aligns with the Sun in only 5 astrological signs (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Scorpio, Capricorn). Venus and the Sun conjunctions are called Venus Star Points as they create a new energy together that highlights Venusian themes: love, money, relationships, women, beauty, receiving, self-worth, personal value systems, and connecting with what you want now. August 11th brings 3 energy shifts as Mercury returns to Leo, Jupiter stations direct iat 14 degrees Sag and Uranus stations retrograde at 6 degrees Taurus. The 8/8 portal is energetically significant as it signifies a time of clearing out old programming, emotional energies, and healing cycles that are not to be repeated or turned into karma. The Lionsgate is given this name because it occurs in the sign of Leo, and is the mid-point of the sign at 15/16 degrees. The planet Sirius is commonly associated with the Lionsgate, but it's important to note that Sirius is a fixed star located at 14 degrees Cancer. It is the brightest star in the sky; Sirius is 26 times brighter, and the twice the size, of our solar system's Sun. Sirius was viewed in the sky above the pyramids by ancient Egyptians during this time of the year, and it was commonly interpreted as a sign of prosperity, harvest, and abundance. The 8/8 portal is an activation for Starseeds to experience greater consciousness around their talents, energies, healing, origins, and soul mission on the planet.

A force awakens as Leo energy activates our deepest heart desires and supports confidence building in a whole new way now. The New Moon at 8/9 degrees Leo is conjunct Venus and squares Uranus in Taurus, changing up what we thought we wanted because we are listening to MORE of our heart’s needs than ever before.
