The second Mercury retrograde of 2022 begins at 4 deg Gemini on May 10 and travels back to 26 deg Taurus until June 3, covering important territory that opened up with the Taurus Lunar Eclipse in Nov 2021 and the North Node’s journey in the first months of 2022. Mercury moves back into Taurus so we can gain clarity, strength, and stability on what is truly important for you now based on what you want – not what others need or want from you. We travel between eclipses this week with dynamic jolts as the Sun meets up with Uranus in Taurus, Mars sextiles the Sun and Uranus, Jupiter enters Aries, and Mercury stations retrograde in Gemini. What a week! Mercury enters Gemini and Pluto stations retrograde on April 29, Venus enters Aries on May 2, and the best eclipse of 2022 occurs on April 30th taking us to new lands and manifestations. Mercury is now in retrograde shadow zone while receiving a supportive trine from Pluto in Capricorn when both of them are still direct. Pay attention to what is speaking to you this week. Pluto retrogrades support pulling energy back into ourselves to further examine what lies within our psyche, and beneath our conscious Self, that we chose to evolve in this lifetime. The astrological weather is quieter this week as we process and integrate more of the bigger energies we’re riding through in the Pisces realms. The Sun in Taurus provides grounding and a focus on what you need to take care of that supports you as we approach eclipse season. An intense Scorpio Lunar Eclipse at 25 degrees on May 15/16 is requiring us to realistically assess our current life energies and make mature decisions around necessary changes. The second half of April has big energy shifts with the dynamic Libra Full Moon squaring Pluto, and Saturn in Aquarius continuing to square the Nodes of Fate. Aries season starts to pick up as the Sun and Mercury move forward in the first zodiac sign and Mars in Aquarius continues away from Saturn.
