Chad Ruhlig of For The Fallen Dreams joins Joshua Toomey and Talk Toomey this week to discuss FTFD's Self Titled upcoming album. Chad and Joshua talk about the writing process through the pandemic and working with outside writers for the first time in the band's career. The guys talk about their current tour with Gideon and getting back on the road after 3 years. Chad speaks on For The Fallen Dreams molding a set list of old and new songs to make the fans happy. Toomey and Ruhlig then dive more into his vocal approach on the new album and expanding into singing and a little flow here and there. Traa Daniels of P.O.D. joins Talk Toomey to discuss his new project, World Gone Cold. Traa and Joshua talk about how the band came together during the pandemic. They speak about how heavy the record is and recording the EP together. Traa looks back on joining P.O.D. 30 years ago and adapting his bass style to punk and metal. Traa also tells us his story about how "Satellite" helped everyone around 9/11 with uplifting lyrics and where they were during the attacks. Joshua and Traa dive into Traa's bass influences, moving to Nashville and if he is becoming a Titans fan! Traa ends with the future of World Gone Cold and show ideas. 

Glen Matlock of The Sex Pistols joins Joshua Toomey and the Talk Toomey Podcast this week to discuss his upcoming solo release, Consequences Coming. Glen and Joshua start the talk with his songwriting process, writing about heavy topics and Joshua gets a lesson on English slang and Brexit! Glen jokes about The Sex Pistols not having band meetings and gives his thoughts on the Hulu Series "Pistol". He then talks about the lasting effect punk has had on popular culture and talks about how he recently joined Blondie as their bass player. Toomey and Akin start the show breaking down some recent stories involving Metallica, Megadeth and Charlie Benante's thoughts on the Pantera critics. Toomey talks the new Paramore record and Akin gives his thoughts on the John 5 in Motley Crue footage. 

Tim "Ripper" Owens makes his Talk Toomey debut this week. Ripper and Toomey start the show talking about his weight loss journey and then dive into his Jamey Jasta produced solo EP "Return to Death Row". Tim discusses how easy it is to work with Jasta and the turnaround time it took him to record the vocals. He gives us a taste of his vocal warmup and his thoughts on being named a Top 50 Metal Vocalist. He gives us the backstory of him not being inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame with Judas Priest and the guys touch on the movie "Rock Star". They finish up the talk with his appearance on Bar Rescue and the inner working of having bands around the world to play solo shows. 

Joshua Toomey is joined by Bakko from Cobras & Fire this week. Toomey starts the episode with some talk about his latest interview with Brent Smith of Shinedown.
