Conspiracies? Or different world views with James Delingpole

Are there any frauds in climate science? "Are the moon landing real?" And "Is there a little group running the world?" In this episode we try to uncover what are real conspiracies or just different ways of viewing the world we all live in.   James Delingpole is a British journalist, author, and broadcaster known for his controversial opinions on various topics, including climate change, politics, and culture.   Delingpole began his career as a journalist in the late 1980s, writing for various publications such as The Daily Telegraph and The Spectator. He gained recognition for his witty and often provocative writing style, which resonated with a conservative audience. Over the years, Delingpole has written numerous articles and opinion pieces on a wide range of subjects, earning him both praise and criticism from different quarters.   One of the areas where Delingpole has been particularly vocal is climate change. He is known for his skepticism towards mainstream scientific consensus on the issue and has often criticized what he perceives as alarmism surrounding climate change. Delingpole has argued that climate change is either exaggerated or not primarily caused by human activity. These views have made him a controversial figure within the scientific community and have led to heated debates with proponents of mainstream climate science.   In addition to his work as a journalist, Delingpole has also authored several books. One of his most well-known works is "Watermelons: How Environmentalists are Killing the Planet, Destroying the Economy, and Stealing Your Children's Future." In this book, Delingpole argues that environmentalism is a cover for socialist ideologies and that policies aimed at combating climate change are detrimental to economic growth and individual freedom.   Also check out James popular podcast: The Delingpode

What will happen to the interest rates with Martin Armstrong and Alex Krainer

We have seen the interest rates being raised 13 times lately. Will they keep rising? Both Martin and Alex has been very good at seeing trends before. What do they think will happen this time?   Martin A. Armstrong is a former financial advisor and hedge fund manager who gained prominence for his economic forecasting abilities. He started his career in the early 1970s and quickly became known for his unique approach to analyzing financial markets.   One of Armstrong's notable contributions to the field of economics is the development of the Economic Confidence Model (ECM). The ECM is a cyclical model that aims to predict economic and political events based on a series of mathematical calculations. According to Armstrong, these cycles repeat over time and can be used to forecast market trends with remarkable accuracy. Armstrong's forecasting abilities gained widespread attention in the late 1980s when he accurately predicted the Black Monday stock market crash of 1987. His model also successfully predicted various other major events, including the Japanese asset bubble collapse in the early 1990s and the Russian financial crisis in 1998. In addition to his economic forecasting work, Armstrong also founded Princeton Economics International Ltd., a research firm that provided economic analysis and consulting services to clients worldwide. The company's clients included governments, central banks, and major corporations.   While he gained recognition for accurately predicting major market events, he also faced legal troubles and was convicted of contempt of court. Armstrong spent several years fighting the charges against him and was ultimately convicted of contempt of court for refusing to hand over computer files related to his forecasting models. He was sentenced to prison in 2000 and remained incarcerated until 2011. You can see his story in the documentary "The forecaster"   During his time in prison, Armstrong continued to write about economics and finance. He gained a following of supporters who believed in his forecasting abilities and viewed him as a victim of government persecution. Armstrong's writings, which were published on his website, often delved into topics such as market manipulation, government corruption, and the flaws of the financial system. Since his release from prison, Armstrong has continued to publish his economic insights and analysis on his website. He has also been involved in various legal battles related to his case and has become an advocate for reforming the justice system. Armstrong continues to share his economic insights through his website but remains a controversial figure in the field of economics.   Alex is the founder of Krainer Analytics and creator of I-System Trend Following. He has worked as a market analyst, researcher, trader and hedge fund manager since 1996. Alex took employment at an oil trading company in Monaco. In 1998 he became the head of risk and CEO in 2000. Alex had originated the firm’s research and development program in market analysis and application of neural networks and artificial intelligence in trading of financial and commodities markets. By 2007 Alex launched his own investment management business and was among the small minority of managers who generated positive investment returns (+27%) during the 2008 financial crisis. Over the following six years, his fund outperformed the Dow Jones Credit Suisse index of Blue Chip commodity futures trading funds. In 2011 Alex Joined Lee Robinson’s Altana Wealth to manage the firm’s inflation hedging strategy. In 2019 Alex created Altana Wealth’s systematic portfolio allocation strategy designed to bridge the gap between technology and finance. In more recent years, Alex also busied himself as an author.   He published his first book “Mastering Uncertainty in Commodities Trading” in 2015. In 2021 this book was selected as #1 on Financial-Expert.co.uk’s list of “The 5 Best Commodities Books for Investors and Traders.” In 2017 he published “The Grand Deception” which is available exclusively from the RedPill Press. In 2021 he published “Alex Krainer’s Trend Following Bible.”
