I did some "message" come up on my computer screen, but I closed it and then turned off my computer and went to bed... NOW I have discovered there was an ERROR!! Argh!!! Today’s expression and dialog: flickering Do you have a minute? What do you need? The light in my room is flickering. I’ll change it for you. Do you have fluorescent lights? You know, those LONG lights that are usually in ceiling lights at school and libraries and offices...well, I have two in my kitchen. And one of them was making me GO CRAZY!! It would be perfectly bright, then suddenly, it would go dark...then it would be bright dark bright dark bright dark bright dark... I would HIT it. And it would be fine. This occurred for about two months. But finally, the other day, I replaced the light! I now love my kitchen again!! WHAT WORD can we use for a light that is ABOUT to die? Today’s expression and dialog: lay it on me Do you have time now? Oh, right. Your new idea. Lay it on me. Well, I think you should make a better website. Ugh! I know! It’s urgent~~ Sometimes you are NOT ready to listen to someone. You want to, but you are too busy. That person might be your wife/husband, child, employee, boss, teacher, friend...it could be anyone. BUT YOU ARE BUSY!!! The only thing you can really say is, "Please, not right now." However, eventually you are ready to listen...and then you can use today's expression!! After my trip to Chicago, for about two weeks I was super busy trying to catch up with work, but now...I AM READY. And I am using today's expression!
