This episode is a great introduction to our brother Joel Repic and his work with a Kingdom ecosystem in Aliquippa, PA. In this conversation the crew digs into the artistic calling of the apostle and the temptation (and mistake) that it is to turn music into math.

In this episode the crew is joined by Dr Chalie Foltz of The Good Hood in San Antonio TX. The episode opens with him sharing a bit of his incredible journey from volunteering as a mentor at a local school to an incredible ecosystem and organization that he now serves. After he shares, the team began reacting and sharing their thoughts that emerged as he told his story. Jon shared a kind of addition to the 'orthodoxy, orthopraxy, orthopathos' framework that he has been thinking about for a few years. It's a term that has only seemed to come up in medical terminology, but one which Jon believes to be an unlock to the other three. This idea led them into quite the exploration of the idea and eventually, they all agreed, should become the title of the episode. In this episode Taylor and Jon wrestle with the realities of the principalities and powers

In this episode, the crew discusses the importance of creating intentional spaces for community engagement and faith exploration. They share stories of transforming spaces like woodworking shops and coffee shops into places for meaningful conversations and good news sharing. The challenges and passion involved in converting buildings into community spaces are also highlighted, along with navigating financial struggles while upholding kingdom values.

The episode begins with Jon saying he got a text from Taylor saying 'We shouldn't try to build the kingdom of God.' Hugh immediately replies 'It'll save us a lot of time if he's right.' This conversation explores the common misconception that the Kingdom of God is something we build. While we might not be able to build the kingdom, the crew discerns, we still have to build.

In episode 2 the crew talked about the inklings that began their journey. At some point Jon told a story about an encounter that began a 'haunting' in him. Hugh suggested that they circle back and record another conversation on hauntings that have a hold of us and keep us in the game. This episode was recorded much later and makes a few references to unreleased conversations that are scheduled to come out soon. This podcast is mostly being released in the order it was recorded but the team felt that this one should cut the line so it wasn't too far from the inklings episode. enjoy!
