569: The Glamorous Life of a Model Turned Actress and Comedian | Eugenia Kuzmina

About This Episode:Eugenia Kuzmina's first entertainment gig was at 13 years old when she was pulled out from a group of kids in her school to appear in a Russian version of SNL " Eralash". She was then cast to appear in Chuck Noris film, but couldn't leave the country due to visa issues. After appearing in commercials for Coca Cola, Loreal and Wrigleys in Moscow she was noticed by a scout at Nathalie Models Europe. She signed a contract and moved to Paris at 15 to work with such brands as Cartier, Dior, Armani, Hermes, Loreal, Vogue among many others... After Ford Models, then IMG resigned her contract and moved her to the US , she was noticed by Rodrigo Prieto ( cinematographer " Wolf Of Wall Street ", " Babel " ) to appear in his directorial debut opposite Elle Fanning " Likeness". The movie was screened at Tribeca and received excellent reviews. John Turturro cast Eugenia to play opposite him in a film with Woody Allen " Fading Gigolo". Recently Eugenia worked opposite Bill Murray in " Rock The Kasbah " and opposite Milla Kunis and Christina Applegate in " Bad Moms and upcoming Guy Ritchie movie " Bush " . " Eugenia's Tv credits include " True Blood"," New Girl", " Castle", " The Comeback", ' Lady Dynamite " ... About This Episode:Lance has lived a very dynamic life but it has never been easy. Through out his journey he has had to overcome some incredible challenges and adversities which has found him rising from rock bottom on more than one occasion. From Almost playing professional hockey, to travelling the world running some of the top bars in Australia he has never lived a dull moment... Although having a ton of life experience, of travel and living in different countries, He also has had to face some very difficult times. He battled with drugs and alcohol all through his 20s and had to overcome the loss of his younger brother to suicide and his father to cancer both within a span of 18 months.. After hitting rock bottom the second time in his life, he made a promise to himself to create a new life that was going to have meaning, value and fulfillment- He decided to make it his mission and show that even though when faced with adversity at the worst possible moments in life, that there is hope, and always a light at the end of the darkness....only if you believe in yourself. Since making the shift from bar manager 2 years ago, he has went on to hone his skill as an internet marketer, which allowed him the tools to bring his true passions to life...which is ended up being podcasting.
