566: Getting an Education at the The University of Adversity | Lance Essihos

About This Episode:
Lance has lived a very dynamic life but it has never been easy.

Through out his journey he has had to overcome some incredible challenges and adversities which has found him rising from rock bottom on more than one occasion.

From Almost playing professional hockey, to travelling the world running some of the top bars in Australia he has never lived a dull moment...

Although having a ton of life experience, of travel and living in different countries, He also has had to face some very difficult times.

He battled with drugs and alcohol all through his 20s and had to overcome the loss of his younger brother to suicide and his father to cancer both within a span of 18 months..

After hitting rock bottom the second time in his life, he made a promise to himself to create a new life that was going to have meaning, value and fulfillment-

He decided to make it his mission and show that even though when faced with adversity at the worst possible moments in life, that there is hope, and always a light at the end of the darkness....only if you believe in yourself.

Since making the shift from bar manager 2 years ago, he has went on to hone his skill as an internet marketer, which allowed him the tools to bring his true passions to life...which is ended up being podcasting.

He has created the University of Adversity podcast which has allowed him a platform to interview unique human beings with incredible stories of over coming Adversity, showing bravery and undeniable resilience.

Because of the fulfillment podcasting has brought him so far, he has decided to take his podcast reality one step further and CO founded IGNiTE- podcasting with purpose- Which allows successful professionals, and busy entrepreneurs, the chance to bring their dream of podcasting dreams to life without having to sacrifice the time it takes to create and learn all that is required, as well as make sure all valuable content is created and distributed on all social media platforms.

He continues to follow his passion of connecting with people and help build an inspirational influence that he can share with the world and bring value to their lives.
