3700 Show Me the Heart

Imagine waking up every morning with the decision to serve your spouse, which elevates them, builds their gifts and talents, and recognizes what they bring to the world they touch, especially your world. Show me the heart! Marriages would look so different. Maybe your marriage would be better off, too. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Unfortunately, we get caught up in all the hustle and bustle of the day, and we forget about what matters. What if you were to make a decision to love your spouse in a manner you've never done before? Or, if you have, you are doing it with more intentionality? I want you to think about money for a moment. Money can make a difference in your every day. But so can love. That's why you gotta show me the heart! The K.I.S.S. ~ Show me the heart! Your spouse needs to know how much you love and care for them. Life is hard for both of you. You both are juggling careers and dreams, kids and finances, but you cannot forget about each other. It's easy to do. Been there, done that. And it really hurts a marriage. In fact, it can destroy a marriage. I don't want that for you. I want you and your spouse to grow a strong foundation that will withstand the test of time and any storm you face together. However, it must come from the heart; the place where only the two of you connect. That's where the magic happens. Yet, at the same time, we are human, and human beings have human needs. If you want to genuinely "show me the heart," you must think about a few of these. This is what it looks like in real life. 1. Express Gratitude: Take the time to express gratitude for your spouse's presence in your life. Acknowledge their efforts, both big and small, and let them know how much you appreciate them. Gratitude can strengthen your connection and create a positive environment in your relationship. 2. Support Their Goals: Show your support for your partner's dreams and aspirations. Encourage them to pursue their passions and be their biggest cheerleader along the way. By standing by their side and helping them achieve their goals, you are showing that you believe in their potential and value their growth. 3. Actively Listen: Practice active listening when your spouse needs to talk or share their thoughts and feelings. Give them your full attention, be empathetic, and show that you truly care about what they have to say. By being present and engaged in conversations, you can strengthen your emotional connection and foster a deeper understanding of each other. BONUS: Do the Assumable! And what I mean by that is you've got to read your spouse's mind! You must be intentional on a daily basis. This takes work. You gotta pay attention to the silent whispers and looks you get. Yes, you can clarify everything. But if you are paying attention, you will know your spouse's patterns and be able to serve them the way their heart wants it. And that's their way! "There are no assumptions in marriage; love leaves clues!" ~ Kristianne Wargo Be attentive and intentional to the patterns and desires of your spouse. Incorporating these acts of service into your daily interactions can transform your relationship and bring you closer to your spouse. Show Me the Heart! That's what your spouse wants to see, hear, and feel as you choose to love unconditionally every day! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3697 You're Not Fat, Your Thoughts Are

Healthy living does not come easily. It takes much effort and minimal failures for you to feel good. But the mirror can be harsh, the looks can be hurtful. You're not fat, your thoughts are. Who would have ever thought this is how you love your reflection? Who would ever talk to themselves like this while they're teaching their kids about kindness? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Kindness would be great to adopt in healthy living, especially because your thoughts can be so destructive. In reality, we belittle ourselves with one brief mention, which is imprinted in our minds forever. It's no wonder change is hard. But just because it's hard does not make it impossible. What must happen is your thoughts need to become words that echo loudly in your head and re-imprint what matters NOW! Create your now! The K.I.S.S. ~ Create your now! Speak the kind words loudly, repeating them often, blanketing your mind in that kindness, even when the harsh truth is shared. Kindness softens the sharp corners and opens the heart to accept the idea of the changes that need to be made. Once the heart and head connect, you're ready to press forward with more pizazz. That's where you get the giddy-up and go! 1. Know the Language You're Using It's challenging when you want to make changes, but you don't know what you're changing. Think of it as painting your room. If you want a new paint color on the wall, you must know how you want to feel and what you want to experience in the space. Then, you can choose the color and make the change. Changing the color is like changing your words and what you tell yourself over and over again. Take the words you use and restructure your vocabulary so you hear words of kindness with sprinkles of unconditional love in a manner that adds hope to your change and does not deplete you. Most of the time, our minds are repeating what we've heard told directly to us and what we continue to agree with those words shared with us. Stop the madness and change your language. 2. Eliminate the Words that Fatten Your Failures Why keep playing old records that make a bigger deal of your failures than your successes? If you are living, you are going to fail. In fact, you'll fail more than you succeed. So get a little skinny, not on your failures, but on your successes. Inflate in your mind that you CAN make changes by making choices that serve your challenges more by deciding to make the change. 3. Take A.I.M. on the One Thing Trying to do too much will only slow you down. If you put too much food into your mouth, you will have difficulty chewing and swallowing, causing you to choke. That's what we do when we're biting off more than we can chew. Focus on the ONE thing that needs immediate attention and give it the attention it deserves. No one wants to be chewed out on everything they do wrong at one time. So take it bit by bit, or should we say, bite by bite, and do what matters for this week. Once you have secured the action and it keeps you motivated to keep trackin', then you can move on to the next ONE thing. Healthy living is not always about the food you put in your mouth or how much your exercise. A lot of what needs to happen is what's happening in your head, and how it connects to your heart. You are not fat, and now your thoughts will not be either. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3696 Embrace Uncertainty

How are you writing your story every day? Does it lead you down the Hope Road and Persistent Alley? Or are you stuck in traffic on Control Highway? Bob Goff once said, "Embrace uncertainty. Some of the most beautiful chapters in our lives won't have a title until much later." Do you find yourself pondering the path your life is taking? Does the uncertainty of the future lead you down the road of possibilities and opportunities, or are you stuck in the frustrating traffic jam of control and predictability? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Embracing uncertainty does not equate to being lost or lacking direction. It signifies a season of growth where unanswered questions pave the way for unexpected discoveries and newfound purpose. Just because you don't know where you're headed does not mean you are less than, not enough, confused, or stuck. It might be a season where unanswered questions lead to more direction. The K.I.S.S. ~ Embrace uncertainty! Don't get wrapped up in what you think you should know or what you believe others want you to do. Living a life on purpose requires you to take a chance on life and make changes in the meantime. This is the in-between, the middle, or that gap. You are not going to know everything. But yet, even without knowing, you still know. In a world that often dictates the need for clear-cut plans and defined pathways, it can be liberating to relinquish the need for certainty and embrace the unknown. Life's most profound lessons are often learned in the midst of ambiguity. Embrace uncertainty. Release yourself from the shackles of perceived expectations and obligations. Your heart beats when you dare to step into unpredictability and chart a course uniquely your own. You may not have all the answers, and that's perfectly acceptable. There is beauty in the unfolding of life's mysteries, in the unwritten chapters that reveal themselves one page at a time. Embrace uncertainty. Trust who you are and who you are becoming. Let God whisper in your heart and guide you towards unexplored territories. It is within this uncertainty that growth flourishes, and dreams take root. So, as you navigate the twists and turns, the ups and downs, and the all-arounds of your journey, remember to embrace uncertainty. For on the empty pages with little to no words, lies the beauty of the next chapter, with life's most extraordinary possibilities penned on your heart. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3695 How Words Shape Your World

Words have power and influence our daily actions. What we tell ourselves and others becomes sticky in our brains. No wonder you have more problems than you do hope, because of how words shape your world. In our everyday lives, our words play a crucial role in shaping our reality. From how we talk to ourselves to how we communicate with others, language can influence our thoughts, actions, and surroundings. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Let's delve into the profound impact of words on our lives and explore how we can harness this power for positive change. Change your words, change your life! **How Words Shape Your Environment** Our choice of words can create a narrative that informs how we perceive the world around us. Research in neuroscience has shown that the language we use can directly impact our brain's processing, influencing our emotions and behavior. How you feel dictates how you act. By cultivating a vocabulary that is empowering and positive, we can construct a more optimistic and authentic reality for ourselves. **Establishing Credibility Through Language** The words we use not only shape our external environment but also establish credibility and self-perception within ourselves. Studies have indicated that positive self-talk can boost self-esteem and performance, while negative self-talk can hinder progress and create self-doubt. By consciously choosing words that inspire confidence and belief in our abilities, we can enhance our sense of self-worth and accomplishments. **Overcoming Negative Vocabulary** Many individuals struggle with negative self-talk, perpetuating a cycle of self-limiting beliefs and behaviors. By becoming aware of our internal dialogue and challenging negative thoughts, we can begin to reframe our words and beliefs in a more constructive light. This process of cognitive restructuring allows us to replace harmful language patterns with affirming and empowering vocabulary. A good friend of mine, named Marianne Renner, wrote a book called Self-Talk. One that you should pick up. She also shares the SEAR Framework: Story + Emotion + Action + Result. If we slow down enough and really pay attention to what we are saying, maybe we will hear how horribly we treat ourselves with our words. And if you are in that position, maybe you need to take a look and rewire your vocabulary. The K.I.S.S. ~ Rewire your brain! This is where you give yourself different words to use on a daily basis. Now, you might be good with the majority of your words, but there could be a few words or phrases that need to be overhauled. Three Steps to Wordsmithing Your Life 1. Mindful Awareness: Start by paying attention to the words you use regularly, both in your interactions with others and in your internal dialogue. Notice any recurring negative or self-defeating phrases and make a conscious effort to replace them with more positive and encouraging language. 2. Affirmation Practice: Incorporate daily affirmations into your routine to rewire your brain for positivity and success. Choose affirming statements that align with your goals and values, and repeat them regularly to reinforce a mindset of confidence and resilience. 3. Build With Kindness: Words create the framework of the actions that follow. If you can be honest with kindness, that helps to handle stuff that's hurtful, whether you thought it or someone else said it. It's no longer about what is being said, but rather about what is being heard in your mind that constructs your emotional and behavioral reaction. You want to be kind in your mind; build with kindness. By transforming our vocabulary and aligning our language with our aspirations, we can harness the transformative power of words to shape a more purpose-driven and fulfilling life. Start today by becoming intentional with the language you use and witness the profound impact it can have on your mindset and environment. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3694 God Does Not Make Mistakes

There are times in life when we question why God does what He does. We complain and get into these predicaments, proclaiming that we aren't good enough. But when it comes to moms, God does not make mistakes. Yes, it's Mother's Day, celebrating those moms who have spent tireless hours caring for the family and those closest to them. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Even though this day is to honor our moms and help them feel special, quietly, moms sit in their corners wondering if they've done enough, cleaned enough, and are good enough for the family she has. How unfair are our thoughts of ourselves? So today, instead of writing a letter or reminding moms of their value, let's look at a mom chosen by God to love and care for His Son, Jesus Christ— Mary. Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, stands out in history as a woman of extraordinary faith, grace, and devotion. As we look at her life and example, we can glean insights into how we can embody the qualities of the mom we are called to be. 1. Faith in God's Plan: Despite the uncertainties and challenges she faced, Mary's unwavering faith in God's plan is a powerful reminder of the importance of trusting in God. Like Mary, we are called to surrender our fears and doubts to God, trusting that His purpose for our lives and our children's lives far exceeds our understanding. 2. Unconditional Love: Mary's love for Jesus was unconditional and sacrificial. From the moment she cradled her newborn son in a manger to witnessing His crucifixion on the cross, Mary's love remained steadfast and unwavering. As mothers, we are called to love our children with a love that knows no bounds, a love that endures through trials and triumphs, and a love that mirrors God's unfailing love for us. Moms, we are to be a reflection of God's love. The K.I.S.S. ~ God does not make mistakes! 3. Strength in Adversity: Mary's strength in the face of adversity and suffering exemplifies resilience and perseverance. Despite the hardships and challenges she encountered, Mary faced them with courage, grace, and dignity. As mothers, we too will experience trials and tribulations, but it is in those moments that our strength and character are forged, shaping us into pillars of support and fortitude for our families. 4. Nurturing Guidance: Mary's role as Jesus' mother extended beyond physical care to encompass spiritual guidance and nurturing. She raised Jesus with love, wisdom, and a deep understanding of His divine purpose. As mothers, we are entrusted with the sacred duty of nurturing our children's hearts and souls, instilling in them values, virtues, and a strong foundation of faith. 5. Humility and Obedience: Mary's humility and obedience to God's will are qualities we aspire to emulate in our own lives. Despite the uncertainties and challenges she faced, Mary submitted herself to God's plan with humility, grace, and trust. As mothers, we are called to humbly submit to God's guidance, seeking His wisdom and strength in navigating the joys and trials of motherhood. In following Mary's example, we are reminded of the profound impact a mother's love, faith, and guidance can have on the lives of her children. Let us embrace the Mary Model of Motherhood with faith, love, strength, and humility, knowing that God equips us with the grace and wisdom we need to fulfill our divine calling as mothers. 3693 Sharing Is My Favorite

If life came to an abrupt stop, where would you be as a couple? Too much of our time is spent on the things that don't matter, so we forget about what does. Sharing is my favorite. Sharing in a marriage goes beyond splitting chores or responsibilities. It means opening up your heart, your thoughts, your dreams, and your fears to your partner. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com It's about creating a deep sense of intimacy and vulnerability that strengthens the bond between two people. Couples share their joys and sorrows, triumphs and challenges, creating a safe space for each other to be fully themselves without judgment. How are you sharing in your marriage? Communicate Openly: Communication is key in any relationship, but in marriage, it's crucial. Take the time to have meaningful conversations with your partner. Share your thoughts, feelings, and desires openly and honestly. Listen actively and empathetically to what your partner has to say. Shared Experiences: Create memories together by engaging in activities that you both enjoy. Whether it's trying a new hobby, cooking a meal together, or going on an adventure, shared experiences strengthen the connection between partners. It's these moments of togetherness that build a foundation of love and understanding. Support Each Other: In a marriage, it's essential to be each other's biggest cheerleader. Support your partner in their goals and aspirations, be there for them in times of need, and celebrate their successes as if they were your own. Sharing in each other's triumphs and challenges creates a sense of unity and partnership that deepens the love between two people. And if you want more of this, you gotta share exponentially. The K.I.S.S. ~ Share exponentially! This is where you don't put boundaries on the "why, when, how, where, and what" you always need in the marriage. But you open up the interaction with each other, giving you the space to share exponentially. Consider what you are doing now. What's working and what needs more intentionality? You must start where you are to gain traction to where you want to go. What 3 things can you do as a couple do to create space for sharing? 1. Schedule Quality Time: Set aside dedicated time each day or week to be together without distractions. Whether it's a quiet dinner at home, a walk in the park, or a cozy movie night, creating space for quality time allows for meaningful conversations and shared experiences. 2. Practice Gratitude: Express appreciation for your spouse and the things they do for you. Gratitude fosters a sense of connection and positivity in a relationship, making sharing more natural and fulfilling. Plus, it helps you recognize the goodness in your marriage. Because if you're not looking, you will not find. 3. Embrace Vulnerability: Allow yourselves to be vulnerable with each other. Share your fears, insecurities, and vulnerabilities, creating a deep level of trust and intimacy in your relationship. Vulnerability is the key to authentic sharing and emotional connection. Remember, sharing is not just about dividing responsibilities in the family, like who does what, but also about dividing joys and sorrows, dreams and fears, triumphs and challenges. It's about creating a space of love, trust, this deeper intimacy where two souls can truly connect and grow together; where me becomes we. So, wake up every day ready to move the needle closer to your spouse's heart, embracing the beauty of sharing and the depth of love you will create together. "Be present. Be incredible. 3692 Stop the Spread

Cleaning up after our children is not something parents like to do, especially the messes we helped to create; those generational habits we inherited from our upbringing. At some point, though, it's essential to sift through the tumbleweeds of our past and stop the spread of what is not beneficial in raising our children. Look at the conversations and interactions you've had over this week. How did you discipline your child when something went wrong? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Did you respond out of spite, or were you calm in your approach to understand the situation at hand? Unfortunately, a lot of parents practice reactive parenting and not proactive parenting. We hit the nail on the head when something happens, instead of forecasting how we want our children to grow up in the world, setting them up for success as they enter adulthood. Plus, if you haven't figured it out already, raising kids is not easy! It takes SO MUCH work!! But what happens is when we are in a disagreement or our kiddos have done something wrong or incorrect (in your opinion), that's the only time we jump up and make a declaration. Parents, you need to check how you parent. Do not take their voices from them. Telling your children they cannot tell you "no" only sets them up for many failures to come in the future. You want your child to speak up. Now, the tone they use or their approach might be more of what you want to focus on. But not taking their voice. They, too, need to be heard, just as you do. Maybe you were raised this way, in that no one is to say NO. But how does that serve your purpose in the long run for your child? If your child is being hurt, don't you want them to be strong enough to say NO? This is only one example. There are so many generational habits for discipline that we could talk about. But what I want today for you, Mom, is to reflect on how you parent, and make sure you are not continuing generational habits that do not support your child's mental, physical, psychological, and emotional development. If you think there might be a few, then all you do is break the cycle. The K.I.S.S. ~ Break the cycle! As a parent, breaking away from generational habits in parenting can be the key to raising well-adjusted and emotionally healthy children. Here are three things you can do to change your parenting approach and break the cycle. 1. Reflect on Your Own Upbringing Take time to reflect on your own upbringing and the parenting style you were exposed to. Consider what worked well and what didn't. Keep in mind that you will remember things differently than what happened as a child, because they are childhood memories. So, your reflection might need to involve your family to understand the specifics of what you're searching for. Recognizing patterns from past generations can help you identify areas for improvement and change. Then, you get to decide how you want to raise your children. 2. Seek Out New Parenting Resources Don't be afraid to seek out new parenting resources and information that align with your values and beliefs. There are so many opportunities for you to gain knowledge, get clarity, and understand your options to best train up your child. For example, attend parenting workshops, read books by experts in child psychology, or join parent support groups to gain fresh perspectives on effective parenting strategies. Remember, just because the resource is mentioned or noted, be sure you do your own research and what's best for your family's values. 3. Practice Present Parenting This is a practice of mindfulness in your parenting approach by staying present and engaged with your child. Actions speak louder than words. So even in the silence, they are watching. Be conscious of your reactions and responses, taking the time to listen actively and empathize with your child's feelings. By being intentional and paying attention, you can break the cycle of reactive parenting and cultivate a more positive and nurturing relationship with your child. By taking proactive steps to break generational habits in parenting, you can create a nurturing and supportive environment for your children to thrive in, fostering strong bonds and healthy emotional development. 3691 How Can You Not?

Life can get you down, and distractions can lead your day. But what matters is you. And not in the sassy "look at me" tone, yet a heart that speaks loudly in facing struggles with resilience and challenging your mind to keep going. Life is a gift. How can you not live life to its fullest? In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it's easy to lose sight of our dreams and aspirations. We often find ourselves caught up in the needs and expectations of others, forgetting to prioritize our own well-being and personal growth. But amid the chaos, it's crucial to remember one thing – you matter. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Every day is a gift, an opportunity to seize the moment and live life to its fullest. It's not about being self-centered or boastful, but about honoring that God created you and embracing the journey with resilience and determination. Challenges will come your way, but how you respond to them is what truly matters. While it's essential to care for those around you, it's equally important to care for yourself. Don't neglect your own needs in the pursuit of meeting others' expectations. You were intricately designed for a unique purpose, and it's vital to nurture that purpose with love and dedication. Your life is a canvas, waiting for you to paint it with vibrant colors and bold strokes. Embrace who you are now, but don't give up on who you are becoming. The K.I.S.S. ~ How can you not? Sometimes our headspace is not the best space. It clouds our judgment, where the fires of others become our everyday priorities. Other people do matter in life, but so do you! Don't minimize what you need to maximize. You were created on purpose, for a purpose. You get to show up in the manner that feeds your soul. Now, yes, you still have responsibilities. But that doesn't mean you push yourself to the side and leave behind the calling God has placed on your heart. This is your day to shine. Love who you are. Be the person you are becoming because it's hard to stay the person you are. You got this because God's got you! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #Inspiration #CreateYourNow #DailyMotivation 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
