3688 Let Go So You Can Grow

Too much of our time is spent in the past. Why do you give more hours to something you can't change? What you have is here and now; let go so you can grow. When we are trying to live out our dreams and discover our purpose in life, somehow we forget that the past matters more than the present, or even the future. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com We tie ourselves to all the failures of what didn't work, but forget the few things that worked well. Seriously! You can't live a life on purpose with a divine design if you let your past become your present. Oftentimes, we give hope to the ashes and forget to discover the beauty in the adventure. Who you are and who you are becoming is a journey of a lifetime. If you want to grow God's way, you have to let go. The K.I.S.S. ~ Let go so you can grow! Because if you continue to hold tight onto the past, you neglect the beauty of the present and the endless possibilities of the future. Letting go is not just a choice; it's a masterpiece in motion where growth, self-discovery, and becoming who you are created to be shine brightly. Here are three transformative steps to release the past and embrace the journey of becoming the person God desires you to be: 1. Practice Forgiveness: Holding onto grudges, resentment, and bitterness only poisons your spirit and hinders your growth. To truly let go and move forward, practice forgiveness – not just toward others but toward yourself as well. Release the burden of past mistakes and choose to forgive, allowing healing and freedom to enter your heart. 2. Cultivate Mindfulness: Embrace the power of mindfulness to anchor yourself in the present moment. By being fully aware of your thoughts, emotions, and surroundings, you can let go of the grip the past has on you. Mindfulness allows you to detach from negative patterns of thinking and open yourself up to new opportunities and possibilities. Change is a constant, and growth is a choice. 3. Embrace Surrender: Surrendering control and trusting in what God has for you can be very freeing. Letting go of the need to micromanage every aspect of your life and instead surrendering to God's plan can lead to immense growth and transformation. Trust in the journey laid out before you, have faith that all things work together for your good, and release the need to constantly fight against the current. When you give yourself permission to practice forgiveness, cultivate mindfulness, and embrace surrender, you pave the way for personal growth, spiritual awakening, and alignment with God's divine purpose designed for you. Letting go is not a sign of weakness but a demonstration of strength and faith in the journey ahead. Release the past, embrace the present, and watch yourself grow into the person you are becoming in the future. This is your day to shine brightly! "Be present. Be incredible. 3687 Will You Live While You Wait?

Waiting has become a lost art in a world that values speed and efficiency. Yet, as believers and Christians, waiting on the Lord is not passive but a powerful act of trust and surrender. Are you one who will stay lost, or will you live while you wait? Most of the time, we work for the results and not the relationship. But as people of faith, it's about anchoring your identity in God's promises and embracing each moment with purpose, hope, and courage regardless of the outcomes. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com It's about anchoring our identity in God's promises and embracing each moment with purpose, hope, and courage. But we know that's easier said than done. Because why not cling to the results and outcomes? Why not live for what we want? In the waiting, it's not about our junk. It's about remembering whose you are. As Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." Our waiting is not in vain, as you renew your spirit and trust in the unwavering love of your Heavenly Father. The only choice that makes sense is to live while you wait. The K.I.S.S. ~ Live while you wait! The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? ~ Psalm 27:1 (KJV) When do you want to grow up and be honest with yourself? You can't keep doing what you are doing if you want the life God has designed for you. That means your trust has to be greater than your fears. Your hope has to be in God, who controls all, not in your own strength. "For we walk by faith, not by sight." ~ 2 Corinthians 5:7 Other translations for 2 Corinthians 5:7 say, "For we live by faith, not by sight." Whether you walk or live by faith, you need to do it God's way. Our way only gets in His way. So as you are waiting for what God has for you, have a willing mind, body, and spirit to take the next step closest to you. One decision leads to the next step. And when you are building your relationship with God, the earthly results you are searching for are not important. Will you live while you wait? Hopefully, by being willing to take the next step, you will trust more and more that walking by faith does not have all the answers, but trusting that God's always got you, regardless of the results. Nothing is impossible! "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday πŸ”” Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3686 Nurturing Your Spouse's Mental Health

In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it's easy to get caught up in our priorities and forget to check in on our partner's mental health and well-being. While supporting each other's dreams and aspirations is essential, nurturing your spouse's mental health is equally vital for a thriving marriage. We tend to forget that a marriage takes two to tango. And that means, when your spouse hurts, you hurt. But if all we do is focus on ourselves and don't really "see" our spouse, we can miss what's right in front of us. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com There are so many things that come up in marriage that directly or indirectly affect our mental well-being. But if we don't stop to recognize or take mental note, we keep loading the trucks and living our habits. Couples may struggle to openly communicate their feelings and thoughts, leading to misunderstandings and emotional distance. And if you are hiding emotions, they are not the good ones that hang around. It's the destructive emotions that keep you on the ground. Then, you interject the fear of how your spouse sees you, like being judged or criticized, which in itself hinders them from sharing their innermost thoughts or emotions. It can get a little bit wacky! And we're not finished yet. What about all that past baggage that you and your spouse are carrying. Past experience or unresolved issues can create barriers to honest and open communication, leading to a mix of realities. That's destructive to a person and to the marriage. Just because life is crazy and the chaos has more of our attention, doesn't mean that you discount your sweetheart! You must stay in tune with where your spouse is emotionally, or you will have a totally different situation to deal with. Don't let the demands of work, family, and daily responsibilities create a wedge or even a mountain that you all can't overcome. It's time to be intentionally on the marriage you really desire and that comes with the mental health of your spouse. When you create mindful moments to prioritize mental well-being in your marriage, you can then strengthen your emotional bond and promote a deeper sense of connection, a stronger marriage. So if you want a thriving marriage, take time and look at the mind. The K.I.S.S. ~ Take time and look at the mind! If your excuses are all about how busy you are, what you still have to do, and what the kids need, you are missing the most important person: your spouse. Take the time and look at the mind. And that's their mind, and yours. What does it look like to foster a supportive environment for your partner's mental health? 1. Sit 'n Listen: Set aside regular time to sit and truly listen to your spouse without judgment or distractions. Show empathy and validation for their feelings and experiences. The goal needs to be to create a safe space for honest conversations about how they are feeling. Encourage your partner to share their thoughts, concerns, and needs without fear of criticism. You need to be there to hold them up, not keep score of their wrongs! 2. Be Intentional in the Silence: You have a greater effect on your spouse with what is not shared, and what your body and looks say. If you are mad, watch out how your face shows it. Your spouse sees more than what you say. And the same goes for you, right? You see more than what your spouse says. So be intentional in the silence and be kind to those who are in front of you! 3. Wrap Your Spouse in Gratitude: Think of it as the grateful hug. Express your gratitude for your sweetheart's support and care, and acknowledge the effort they put into maintaining their mental health. Small gestures of appreciation can go a long way in strengthening your bond. Remember, creating mindful moments for mental well-being in your marriage is an ongoing process that requires patience, understanding, and love. By prioritizing each other's mental health and well-being, you can build a resilient and supportive relationship that stands the test of time. "Be present. Be incredible. 3685 Your YES Makes All the Difference

As parents, navigating the many decisions that shape our children's lives is a constant challenge. From setting boundaries to granting permissions, we carry the weight of molding our children into responsible, compassionate individuals. But amidst the sea of no's, your yes makes all the difference. For every moment we have to say no – whether it's to a request for a late-night sleepover or an extra scoop of ice cream – there is an opportunity to say yes in a different way. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com It's about more than just the answer; it's about the attention we pay to our children. In a world where our children are surrounded by friends, teachers, and mentors, our yes holds a unique power. It signifies that we see them, that we hear them, and that we value their wants and needs. It's about being present in their lives in a way that goes beyond permission or denial. So, how can we as parents ensure that our yes is truly impactful, beyond the words themselves? See, so they achieve! The K.I.S.S. ~ See, so they achieve! Keep in mind: This has nothing to do with being the best or perfect, or having received awards and recognition in life, for example, at school. It's all about how you recognize their presence so they know you are present. Here are three key things: 1. Be Present: Put down the phone, step away from the screen, and give your child your full attention. Engage in meaningful conversations, look in their eyes, listen actively, and show that you are there for them in mind, body, and spirit. Your body language speaks more than your words. Don't pretend that you are paying attention when you might be drifting off into another iCloud. 2. Empathize: Understand that your child's requests, no matter how small or trivial they may seem, are important to them. Empathize with their feelings, validate their experiences, and show that you care about what matters to them. Ensure your child knows that you understand how they feel. 3. Connect: Look for opportunities to bond with your child, whether it's through shared activities, quality time together, or simply being there when they need you. Establish a solid foundation of trust and understanding that extends beyond mere responses and resonates on a deeper level. Ultimately, it's not about always saying yes, but about making your yes meaningful. By recognizing the power of attention over answers, you can truly make a difference in your children's lives. So, the next time you're faced with a request, remember that your 'yes' makes all the difference β€” a powerful tool for connection, compassion, and an extension of your love. "Be present. 3684 The Art of Doing

Maybe you find yourself sitting around, wondering why you can't seem to get things done? It's a feeling many of us experience, especially as we navigate the challenges of a busy work and personal life. But here's the thing – it's not about your age or how fast time seems to be slipping away. It's about mastering the art of doing that can truly change the game. Think back to when you were younger. Remember how you conquered challenges with unwavering determination and limitless energy? You just kept going. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com That same spirit still resides within you, waiting to be rekindled. The key lies in understanding that time is constant; it's our approach to tasks and goals that evolves with experience. Consider the analogy of renovating a house. You start with a clear vision and a set budget, only to encounter unexpected obstacles and additional work along the way. It's easy to feel overwhelmed and tempted to slow down, but that's precisely when your persistence is put to the test. The truth is, the journey of accomplishment is not always a linear path. It's about adapting to unforeseen circumstances, staying agile in the face of challenges, and most importantly, never losing sight of your destination, where you are headed. Yes, there may be more to do than when you first began, but that doesn't mean you should waver in your resolve. The K.I.S.S. ~ The art of doing! It's time to shift your mindset and embrace the art of doing. Rein in those self-defeating thoughts and excuses that hold you back. Don't let them temper your enthusiasm today. Remember, nothing worth achieving comes easily, but with perseverance and a focused mindset, even the most daunting tasks become achievable. Stop feeding yourself lies that undermine your capabilities. You have the strength and resilience to tackle whatever comes your way. Trust in your abilities, stay true to your goals, and forge ahead with unwavering determination. You've got this – believe in yourself, stay the course, and watch as you rise to the top. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness!" ~ Kristianne Wargo Embrace the challenges, celebrate the victories, and keep moving forward. The art of doing is not just about reaching the finish line; it's about the journey of growth, self-discovery, and the adventures along the way. So, hold on tight, keep pushing forward, and watch as you transform trials into triumphs. "Be present. Be incredible. 3683 How Can You Clear the Clutter to Change Your Body?

Many things sound good in our heads. We convince ourselves how this or that can work for the better. However, once you examine the facts, the season you're in, and what you need, the thoughts in your head do not always make sense. How can you clear the clutter to change your body? In a world filled with distractions and noise, it's easy to fall into the trap of believing that what sounds good in our minds will automatically lead to positive outcomes for our bodies. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com However, the truth is far more complex. Our bodies have their language, their needs, and their unique way of communicating with us. To truly make lasting changes and achieve optimal health, it's essential to tune in and listen to what our bodies are telling us. However, you must first decide to clear the clutter. The K.I.S.S. ~ Clear the clutter! And it's not any clutter. It's all the stuff that you keep gathering year after year; all the failures and successes. There you find an overwhelming amount of stuff that holds you back. You are weighed down, not by a number, but by the stuff that claims your heart and attention. So, how do you escape the mess you put yourself in? Here are three practical steps to help you clear the clutter and start making mindful choices for your body: 1. Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to how your body reacts to different foods, activities, and environments. Keep a journal to track your energy levels, digestion, mood, and other vital signs. For example, if you notice that you feel sluggish after eating a particular type of food, consider cutting it out or reducing your intake. By fine-tuning your diet and lifestyle based on your body's feedback, you can create a tailored approach that works best for you. 2. Prioritize You: You must take care of yourself. Make self-care a non-negotiable part of your daily routine. This could include activities such as meditation, journaling, exercise, spending time in nature, or simply taking a break to relax and recharge. By investing in yourself, you not only foster a deeper connection with your body but also reduce stress, improve mental clarity, and enhance overall well-being. Remember, you taking care of you is not selfish; it's a vital component of maintaining a healthy body and mind. 3. Establish Healthy Habits: Instead of following fleeting trends or quick fixes, focus on creating sustainable and healthy habits that support your long-term well-being. This could involve meal prepping, staying hydrated, getting enough sleep, and finding ways to stay active that you genuinely enjoy. By integrating these habits into your daily life, you create a solid foundation for a healthier body and a happier you. In the end, remember that change takes time, patience, and a willingness to listen to your body's wisdom. Embrace the journey, trust the process, and honor your body. Clear the Clutter to Change Your Body by Kristianne Wargo In the whispers of our bodies, lies the key, To unlock the secrets of health and harmony. Listen closely to its gentle plea, For true wellness is found when we let it be. Clear the clutter, let your body speak, In its messages, the answers you seek. Nurture it with care, strong and meek, A partnership of love, pure and unique. So as you journey through each passing day, Remember, your body has much to say. But what if, instead of retreating in the face of fear, we were to step forward with courage and conviction, knowing that fear is simply a companion on our journey, not a hindrance? It's true that stepping into the unknown can be daunting. The outcomes may be uncertain, the challenges may be humongous, and the road ahead may be filled with twists and turns. 3681 Build the Foundation First

In the journey of pursuing our goals and dreams, it's easy to get caught up in the excitement and rush to the finish line without laying a solid foundation. However, just like a house needs a sturdy base to stand strong, our aspirations require a stable groundwork to support our growth and success; build the foundation first. A house cannot serve you well if there is no foundation to keep everything stable. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Imagine what it would be like to build your house on sand versus on solid rock. It would be a little awkward to have your house shift as you cook your dinner, eventually having one side five inches lower than the other part of the house. Sometimes we bite off more than we can chew. We expect things to fall into place, but that's not going to happen. Life doesn't work that way. We continue to work diligently to get things done. But with the pile up, there you have it. The shift occurs, the foundation is shaken, and the fall begins. At some point, you have to make a decision to make some changes that build the foundation first. The K.I.S.S. ~ Build the foundation first! Here are three essential steps to prioritize building the foundation first, in both identity and personal growth: 1. Self-Reflection and Clarity: Take the time to reflect on who you are, your values, strengths, and weaknesses. Understanding yourself on a deeper level provides clarity on where you want to go and what steps you need to take to get there. By knowing your foundation, you can confidently navigate towards your aspirations. 2. Set S.M.A.R.T Goals: Define specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals that align with your vision. Building a foundation involves setting the right framework for your ambitions. Break down your goals into actionable steps, creating a roadmap that guides you towards your desired destination. 3. Continuous Learning and Adaptation: Growth is a dynamic process that requires ongoing learning and adaptation. Embrace challenges as opportunities for learning, and be open to adjusting your strategies along the way. Building a strong foundation means being resilient, adaptable, and willing to evolve as you progress towards your goals. Remember, nothing is impossible when you commit to building your foundation first. By taking intentional steps towards self-discovery, goal setting, and continual growth, you pave the way for your dreams to flourish and stand the test of time. "Be present. Be incredible. 3680 God's Grace Is Sufficient

In 2 Corinthians 12:9, it saysβ€” "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'" No matter where you are in the rumblings of your life, God's grace is sufficient. You don't have to be perfect to be seen or heard. God's got you! Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com But why do we feel so empty and torn that we don't even understand how we can rise up when we fall? My friend, it's not about your strength, but about God's. Your failures do not define how God sees or hears you! You don't have to prove anything for love. God gives it unconditionally because He loved us first. Now, when you say it out loud, it really does sound a little strange. If you're married, you know what it's like to have your spouse be mad at you and not pay attention to or want to be around you. Your mistakes and mishaps do not slam the door of God's heart in your face, as they can with your spouse. Instead, God leans in a little closer. He says, Come as you are! The K.I.S.S. ~ God's grace is sufficient! So why do you think you have to prove something? Seriously? What is keeping you from understanding the importance of accepting the grace that God gives, and stop pretending you have to do it right? Perfection does not get you closer to God. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, we are reminded that His provision exceeds our understanding, and His power is made perfect in our weakness. By placing our trust in Him, we can find the strength to persevere, knowing that He is our ultimate source of comfort and support. You are not alone. You do not have to live a life in fear, doubt, and shame thinking that God looks at your differently. He loves you for who you are and who you are becoming. So stop running and closing the door to your heart. Take a bold step and pause for a moment. Let time be on your side to have chit-chat with God and share with Him what you are concerned about. Yes, God knows all, but He wants to do life with you. Soβ€” let Him and begin again. There are new mercies every morning. "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24 "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday πŸ”” Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3679 What If You're Not Number One?

Being married is a challenge in itself. You must wake up every morning ready to say "I do" today. Love is a verb and requires you to choose daily. But what if you're not number one to your spouse? Life has cycles and seasons. Some are good and some are bad. But most are lived without intention unless it's required of you. We put out the fires of others, and the seasons prompt us to shift accordingly. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com Life isn't supposed to be fair, but when it comes to your marriage, most hope they are number one and a priority. However, let's be real. There are those times when you can't be number one. And you've gotta remember that it goes both ways. When life presents challenges and responsibilities, it's easy to lose sight of each other's needs and priorities. Plus,it may not be so much that your spouse doesn't care, but more so the responsibilities in the season. Consider the birth of a new child, building or changing your career, medical diagnoses, extended family situations, and the child's various stages of life. There are many variations of what can become a priority or a necessity to "make it through" difficult circumstances, but that doesn't mean your spouse, or even you, doesn't love you. But in reality, that's just what you feel. And it's important to honor and recognize those feelings; however, don't hang out with them in a manner that can foster bitterness and begin the downward spiral in your marriage. If you find yourself experiencing a lack of priority from your spouse, or maybe you are not prioritizing your spouse, then take a moment to intentionally turn things around. The K.I.S.S. ~ Turn things around! That's what you have to remember: you have a choice to make a decision about how you show up every day in your marriage. If you want to navigate these treacherous waters in your marriage, hang on, because you can turn things around. Here are three actionable steps to help turn things around when you're not feeling like you're number one in your spouse's life: 1. Love Language Exploration: Discover each other's love languages and actively incorporate them into your daily interactions. Whether it's acts of service, quality time, words of affirmation, physical touch, or receiving gifts, understanding and catering to each other's love language can deepen emotional connections and reignite intimacy. The book by Gary Chapman, The Five Love Languages, is a great resource. 2. Adventure Together: Step out of your comfort zone and try new experiences together. Whether it's exploring a new hobby, embarking on a spontaneous road trip, or taking a cooking class, shared adventures can create lasting memories and strengthen the bond between partners. 3. Gratitude Practice: Cultivate a habit of gratitude within your relationship. Take time each day to express appreciation for each other's efforts, qualities, and presence in your life. A gratitude journal, daily affirmations, or simply verbal expressions of thankfulness can foster a sense of mutual respect and admiration. 4. Couples Counseling: Consider seeking the guidance of a professional couples therapist to navigate through challenges and improve communication. Therapy sessions can provide a safe space for both partners to express their feelings, work through conflicts, and gain valuable insights into improving the relationship dynamics. 5. Physical Touch Rituals: Create rituals of physical touch that foster intimacy and connection. Whether it's holding hands during evening walks, cuddling before bed, or sharing regular hugs throughout the day, physical touch can communicate love and support non-verbally, strengthening the emotional bond between partners. 6. Surprise Gestures: Surprise your partner with thoughtful gestures that show your love and appreciation. It could be leaving a heartfelt note in their bag, preparing their favorite meal, or organizing a surprise date night. Small acts of kindness and thoughtfulness can make your partner feel valued and cherished. 7. Shared Goals and Dreams: Align your visions for the future and set shared goals as a couple. Whether it's planning a travel adventure, saving for a common financial goal, or pursuing a joint passion project, working together towards a shared vision can foster a sense of unity and purpose in your relationship. 8. Mindfulness Practice: Incorporate mindfulness practices into your daily routine as a couple. Whether it's meditating together, practicing deep breathing exercises, or simply being present in the moment during shared activities like eating dinner together, mindfulness can enhance emotional awareness, reduce stress, and improve communication within the relationship. Be creative in your marriage by approaching life's challenges in innovative ways. Think outside the box and do what works for you all as a couple and as a family. You can make it through these, what feels like, obtrusive seasons in your marriage, so long as you are intentional, kind, and serve with forgiveness. "Be present. Be incredible.
