Best Practices For Managing Stress To Create A Winners Mind

In this week's He Said She Said, Lori and I share our takeaways from this book and share with you our feelings on stress and how to manage it to create a winner's mindset. Top 3 Investments For Starting Your Business

I had an awesome conversation this past week with somebody who wants to start a business. They're new to starting and owning a business and so of course, they picked my brain and I was more than happy to have this conversation with them. They were shocked at how much it costs you to attain or earn a customer, and they were shocked at how much it is going to cost for them to get their business up and going in the first place. As I shared with them, I want to share with you that there are always three ways to pay or to invest. You're going to have to pay to get your customer one of these three ways but in today's episode, I will help you decide what is the best choice for you based on your budget and your circumstance. IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT: How much it costs you to attain a customer How and why your customer has a lifetime value Figuring out how you're built and using the option of my three, that best suits you RESOURCES Text DAILY to 310-421-0416 to get daily Money Mantras or Business Perspective messages to boost your day. 662. 2 Truths About How To Make Your Money

This week I chatted with my personal trainer at the local gym here by the lake house about career options and money. He expressed that he would love to find a way to make more money than he does right now and that he's been tempted to pursue other jobs. The other jobs he spoke of were unrelated to his area of expertise or anything that he would enjoy doing, but he was thinking about them purely because they pay more. I shared with him that there are two truths about making money and I want to share them with you in today's episode. IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT: How it is not worth ever doing something just for the money if you know you're not going to enjoy it Discussing the question: If it doesn't exist already, how can I make it exist? That anything you enjoy doing can be monetized RESOURCES Text DAILY to 310-421-0416 to get daily Money Mantras or Business Perspective messages to boost your day. This is WHY You Shouldn't Say Yes To Every Opportunity

For years Lori and I were yes people, and for years we have watched others "yes" themselves to death. Now, we practice not just saying no to things that do not serve our greater vision and purpose, but going beyond that and letting it be okay if we disappoint people by saying no. We have consistently learned from others who have beautiful boundaries to protect and who have thrived by doing so. When you say yes to everything, you water down your message. When you constantly say yes, you take yourself away from your primary vision and the message you want out in the world. IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT: Why you shouldn't say yes to every opportunity and should only say yes to what serves your agenda. We discuss the side effects of "yessing" yourself to death If you don't get an immediate answer to a request, it doesn't mean to stop asking. We discuss how to not take it personally How and why it is harder for women to turn down opportunities and how women can overcome the fear of saying no How people react to your no is usually telling of how they will behave and show up for you down the line Why protecting boundaries and respecting others is so important RESOURCES Text DAILY to 310-421-0416 to get daily Money Mantras to boost your day CONNECT WITH LORI Follow Lori: @loriharder Follow Lite Pink: @drinklitepink Follow Earn Your Happy: @earnyourhappy Follow Girlfriends & Business: @girlfriendsandbusiness Listen to Girlfriends & Business Listen to Earn Your Happy CONNECT WITH CHRIS Follow Me: @chriswharder Visit My Website: https://chrisharder.me

The Feel Good Effect Of Doing Good For Others

This week, I received a magazine from the Wisconsin Maritime Museum celebrating raising 9.5 million dollars to build a tower that houses all sorts of displays for the museum. This just happens to be the tower that my Dad designed and created when he was the President and Chairman of the Board. Until my Dad took that President's seat it was nothing more than a wish and he turned it into a reality. I started reading the names of the donors and I realized that my community had donated a ton of money cumulatively to my father's dream. This is the direct result of building a community of people around you — friends, family, and acquaintances — who work hard to put themselves in a financially advantageous place, then pay it forward without the expectation of anything back. IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT: Dedicating time and energy towards making other's lives better, and the ripple effect it causes for those to pay it forward making life better for others. Reminding you of my promise that I will always keep putting out tons of free content that will make your life better and easier The core of my message: When good people make good money, they can do great things. How To Maintain Confidence In Your Business

This week I travelled to Denver to teach at Fast Foundations Mastermind. I planned to spend the lesson debunking the recent article I shared that said people are more afraid of a recession than ever before. To kick things off, I prompted the students to rate their confidence levels of their business succeeding. Their answers threw me a curve ball in the best way. They were all extremely confident people. The reason? Community. They knew they were surrounded by motivated people, therefore, they felt motivation. They didn't feel fear. It turns out if you assemble a bulletproof group of people then they are going to give you a bulletproof mind, making you as successful as your network. IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT: Debunking the idea that people are more afraid of a recession than ever before Building what you wish existed, for free, making it accessible to you and others to succeed How forming your own group of motivated individuals will ensure that you stay that way yourself Feeling supported will make you reject the idea of failure as a possibility RESOURCES Text DAILY to 310-421-0416 to get daily Money Mantras or Business Perspective messages to boost your day Learn more about Fast Foundations Mastermind: fastfoundations.com Text EVENTS to 310-421-0416 to get the first news on The Greatest Year Of Networking In Your Life membership CONNECT WITH CHRIS Follow Me: @chriswharder Visit My Website: https://chrisharder.me

2 Tools To Financial Abundance From A 95-Year Old

Lori and I recently went to visit her 95-year-old grandpa and we were lucky enough to ask him a few questions regarding money. In today's episode, you'll hear the story of how Grandpa Al was able to pull his family out of financial ruin after his business burned down 65 years ago, and what his biggest investment regret is. His reflections illustrate that if you're willing to do whatever it takes to boost yourself up and sacrifice your daily comforts for long-term prosperity, anything is possible. He also explains how if he had practiced delayed gratification and invested in some discounted land before building his dream house, he would've been $6.5 million richer today. Listen in to hear more of Grandpa Al's wisdom and how we can all extract lessons from older generations. IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT: The two tools that Al used to dig himself out of debt and into absolute abundance Being honest with yourself if you're truly doing everything in your power to improve your financial situation Practicing restraint and realistic budgeting strategies Why I always preach listening to your intuition when it comes to investing RESOURCES The Comfort Crisis: Embrace Discomfort To Reclaim Your Wild, Happy, Healthy Self by Michael Easter Text DAILY to 310-421-0416 to get daily Money Mantras to boost your day.
