120) Lex Griffin - Energy and Health, & Gymshark from Day 1.
Today’s conversation is with Lex Griffin, YouTuber and Entrepreneur.
Expect to learn about Lex’s life and fitness background before the cameras were on for YouTube including his time at University and his fighting career.
Beyond this, we explore his own influences during the early days of his content creation and of course learn about what it was like during the golden era of fitness Youtube with the likes of Matt Ogus, Chris Lavado and Jeff Said.
This links in with being the first ever Gymshark athlete and how it has been to grow alongside the brand.
On a personal level, Lex and I met at a shoot with Slater Menswear for Inside Mens Minds which you may have heard on episode 95 of this podcast. Getting to know each other so well in that open, vulnerable environment meant this conversation was also wide open.
We discuss energy, being present, the up and down life of a content creator, dealing with loss, and even coming through a divorce and break up.
Lex and I were fired up during this chat and there was such a flow at times that we do go into some fun tangents and side tracks that I hope you also enjoy.

I first became aware of Hannah at the end of 2019 and she has been in LinkedIn’s Top 10 Voices in Sports for 2020 and 2021.
