The Scottish market strategist Russell Napier warns that investors should prepare for inflation rates of 4% and more by next year.  The main reason: Governments have taken control of the money supply.  Debts are too big and governments need inflation to get rid of this debt. The amount of total debt in the world has exceeded 250% of world GDP. This can only be dealt with three ways. Default, Payback, or Debasement.  History shows that governments always choose debasement. This is a process until it becomes an event. Oil tried really hard to sell off recently but could not really go down. I am wondering if we are at an inflection point. I talk about sentiment changes in oil and how they played out in the past.  Is the recent BP 2020 Energy Review a bottom call on oil?  I also point out that everybody's favorite EV maker Tesla is getting their lunch eaten in Europe. Doesnt matter to us as we will win regardless of who sells the most EV cars. BP came out with their annual energy review. I go over some of the highlights. Inflation is the new talking point for the last week. CNBC even wheeled out Alan Greenspan.    Due to overvalution and lower prospects in the developed country markets I delve into why I am investing in emerging and frontier markets.
