I like old Soviet propaganda posters and thought this one was appropriate for the current overvaluations we are seeing in the stockmarket. History says this is going to end badly. The question is always when.  There is always a bullmarket somewhere and we aim to help you find it.

Capital, both human and monetary goes where it is treated best.   Many high net worth people, financial firms, and businesses are leaving places like New York and California for low tax states like Texas and Florida.   However the entire west is falling for more statism and stupidity. In a few election cycles Texas will be blue.   Where do you run to then? Look around the world as many places are going in the exact opposite direction of where the west is going.

Fidelity Investments conducted a study on their Magellan fund from 1977-1990, during Peter Lynch’s tenure. His average annual return during this period was 29%.   What Fidelity Investments found in their study was shocking. The average investor in the fund actually lost money   Individuals make decisions every day with their emotions assisting their judgment. It is part of who we are as human beings. Review of Chris Mayer's Lost Chapter to his book "100 Baggers: Stocks That Return 100-to-1 and How to Find Them." In this paper he cites examples of wealthy people and how they became this way.    As I have said before, success leaves clues. If you want to be a success in business or investing than study those that have done it already. Energy stocks moved higher this past week based on positive results from a vaccine test. Is this a one off on news or the beginning of a new trend in energy.  China begins to flex its political muscle by rejecting Australian imports of coal and agricultral products. Expect more of this as time passes.
