One day I was going down a gua sha rabbit hole and looked up the hashtag to come across this beautiful girl teaching facial reflexology practices. I saw she lived in Miami and we ended up meeting up and have been close friends ever since! I recently read Build for Tomorrow, by Jason Feifer, and immediately was hooked on the endless examples of how humans have always been afraid of change throughout history. We are so afraid of what we don't know, no matter if it is good or bad. Jason's book is a much-needed reminder that the one thing we were once so deeply afraid of really isn't that scary in the end. Jason joins us to share how change is the gateway to possibility and how we can open ourselves to it. We talk about how to properly adapt to change, the phases of change we experience, and why change is our greatest opportunity in life. Our generation has become obsessed with shadow work and living in an endless journey of healing. While shadow work can be a profound journey, when do we know we are healed enough? In this episode, I go deep into what shadow work is, why our generation is attached to it, and how shadow work can be used as an excuse to avoid living our dharma. I talk about how we can be the highest service to the collective, and the joy that comes from releasing yourself from the perpetual journey of constant healing. A few years ago I read The Sophia Code by Kaia Ra and was blown away by the dense layers of wisdom within her book.
