No Condemnation | Episode 6 | Our Authority
In the sixth episode of "No Condemnation," Duane Sheriff teaches how accusations affect Christians. Romans 8:1 explains that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Yet many Christians live under a cloud of condemnation despite God's assurance that He is not the one condemning them. By exploring the four sources of condemnation - Satan, our own hearts, others, and the law - Duane emphasizes the importance of understanding our authority in Jesus Christ, especially against Satan, whom Revelation 12:10 calls the accuser of the brethren. Through the resurrection of Jesus, believers have been given the power to resist and rebuke the enemy.Matthew 28:18-20 reveals our responsibility to exercise this authority and live free from guilt and shame. There is a difference between conviction and condemnation. When God convicts us, it is to bring us closer to Him. When Satan condemns us, it pushes us away from God. Duane encourages believers to take an active role in spiritual warfare by submitting to God and resisting the devil, as instructed in James 4:7. He shares practical steps to rebuke Satan's lies and reminds us that through Jesus, we have the power to overcome. Christians must stand firm in their identity and authority in Christ and live free from condemnation, full of God's grace and truth.

No Condemnation | Episode 5 | Four Sources
In the fifth episode of "No Condemnation," Duane Sheriff teaches that Christians face four main sources of condemnation. God is not the source of condemnation for believers; as stated in Romans 8:1-2, there are sources we must learn to recognize and overcome. The sources of condemnation are the devil, our own hearts, others, and the law. In Revelation 12:10-11, the devil is described as our accuser. Satan uses accusation, guilt, and shame to try to silence and paralyze Christians. We can overcome these accusations by the blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony, and not loving our lives unto death. Understanding our God-given authority as believers is crucial. It allows us to rebuke the devil and exercise the power to bind and loose on earth, as mentioned in Matthew 18:18. We are not meant to be passive recipients of God's grace but active participants in His plan. By standing firm in our faith, speaking the truth in love, and refusing to be silenced by the enemy's accusations, we can exercise our spiritual authority, overcome condemnation, and make a difference.

True Grit | Part 4
In part four of "True Grit," Duane Sheriff teaches the importance of having spiritual endurance, which he calls "grit." He emphasizes that while believers are called to fight "the good fight of faith," they must understand that there are different types of suffering. Persecution and opposition often come because of living righteously, not despite it. In Mark 10:29-30, Jesus promises a hundredfold return to those who have left everything for the gospel's sake, "with persecutions." Blessings and opposition often go hand in hand in the Christian walk. Not all suffering comes from God; rather, some suffering Jesus took as our substitute, while other forms of suffering are an example for us.The Apostle Paul writes in Romans 8:16-18 that "the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." While suffering for righteousness is part of the Christian journey, the eternal rewards far outweigh temporary trials. We must maintain our faith and integrity even when facing opposition. Standing for truth in today's culture will inevitably bring resistance, but God's promises remain faithful.

No Condemnation | Episode 4 | Goodwill
In the fourth episode of "No Condemnation," Duane teaches how God's love frees us from guilt and shame. He emphasizes that understanding God's unconditional love is crucial for overcoming various forms of condemnation.Romans 8:1-2 states, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." This verse assures believers that God is not condemning them, regardless of their past mistakes or struggles. In Luke 2:14, angels proclaim, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men." Through the sacrifice of Jesus, God has made peace with humanity and desires only good for His children. There may be misconceptions about God's attitude toward us, but God is not the source of condemnation or ill will in our lives. Instead, His love is abundant and sufficient to cover all our sins, offering us reassurance and comfort. In Christ, we are new creations, and our past does not define our present or future.

No Condemnation | Episode 3 | Free
In the third episode of "No Condemnation," Duane teachesthe "good news" of Jesus. According to Romans 8:1, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." Believers are free from God's wrath and judgment. All the punishments and curses of the old covenant law were placed on Jesus at the cross. By accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are set free from the condemnation that was once due to you. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set us free from the law of sin and death, as mentioned in Romans 8:2, empowering us with hope and a new life.Galatians 3:13 states Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law, saying, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us." Jesus bore our curses so we can live free from fear and punishment. God's covenant of peace with His people was prophesied in Isaiah 54:10.Reject the false belief that God is out to punish you and embrace the truth that He loves you and desires to be in a close relationship with you. By focusing on God's grace and love, you can move forward with confidence and joy.

No Condemnation | Episode 2 | Sacrifice
In the second episode of "No Condemnation," Duane teaches about God's love and forgiveness, emphasizing that there is no condemnation for those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. He explores the profound implications of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and how it frees believers from sin and punishment.Romans 8:1-4 explains that those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord are no longer under condemnation. God is not punishing believers because He poured out His wrath on Jesus at the cross. This sacrifice fulfilled the law's righteous requirements that we could never meet on our own.The prophetic description in Isaiah 53 describes Jesus' suffering and sacrifice, highlighting how Jesus bore our griefs, carried our sorrows, and was wounded for our transgressions. This powerful passage of scripture underscores the depth of God's love and the completeness of our redemption through Christ.God is not the source of our troubles or sorrows, but rather the one who has provided healing and restoration, which challenges the common misconceptions about God's character. God is a loving Father rather than an angry judge. In Isaiah 54:7-9, God promises His everlasting kindness and mercy. The rainbow symbolizes God's promise never to flood the earth again and shows His mercy and loving-kindness. Every time you see the rainbow, you should think of God.

No Condemnation | Episode 1 | The Law
Do you struggle with guilt, shame, and fear of God's judgment? In a new series, "No Condemnation," Duane Sheriff teaches that believers in Christ are free from condemnation. Romans 8:1 and Galatians 3:13 speak of God's incredible love and grace. Romans 8:1 '"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Jesus condemned sin in his flesh so that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us.Similarly, Galatians 3:13 reveals, "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us." Jesus bore our sins and took on the punishment we deserved, making us righteous before God. There is a difference between God's correction and His wrath. While God does correct His children, it is out of love and not anger or wrath. By understanding the depth of Christ's sacrifice and the truth that God is not condemning us, believers can overcome other sources of condemnation, whether from the enemy or self-inflicted.1 John 4:17-18 emphasizes the perfection of love, stating that it allows us to be bold in the day of judgment because we are like Him in this world. The passage also highlights that there is no fear in love, as perfect love drives out fear. A deeper revelation of God's love and your identity in Christ will free you from condemnation.

God Killed My Old Man | Episode 10 | The Law
In the tenth episode of "God Killed My Old Man," Duane Sheriff teaches the role of the law in revealing sin and our need for Christ. Understanding our new nature in Christ is crucial to overcome sin and live a victorious Christian life.Referencing Romans 7:7-12, Paul explains that the law is not sin but reveals sin. Duane uses the analogy of mud in a pond to illustrate how the law stirs up and exposes the sin already present in our hearts. In Romans 7:14-25, Paul describes the internal struggle between wanting to do good and the sinful nature. This struggle occurs when we try to live the Christian life through our efforts (the flesh) rather than relying on our new nature in Christ.Romans 8:1-4 declares that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. While we are no longer "in the flesh" (our old sinful nature), we can still choose to "walk after the flesh" instead of the Spirit. The key to victory is to walk according to the Spirit, renew our minds to our new identity in Christ, and remember God has killed our old man.

True Grit | Part 3
In this message, Duane Sheriff teaches the importance of developing spiritual "grit" during today's challenging times. Grit is defined as patience, perseverance, and endurance, especially in the face of hardship. While the word "grit" isn't in the Bible, all the heroes of faith demonstrated this quality.Acts 14:22 emphasizes the need to endure tribulations to enter the Kingdom of God. It illustrates Paul's return to the cities that persecuted him after being stoned in order to strengthen the disciples. This biblical account is a profound example of endurance in facing persecution. As Christians, we must be prepared to face afflictions, as Jesus warned in John 16:33. Duane warns that difficult times are coming, and believers must be prepared to stand firm for truth and righteousness. There is a need for the church to be a "counterculture" rather than a "subculture," resisting evil while showing Christ's love. Defend biblical values in areas like gender, marriage, and the sanctity of life. As we navigate these turbulent times, we are called to be kingdom-minded, understanding that while we may face opposition, we are part of a greater purpose. Are we ready to stand firm in our convictions, even when it's difficult? Are we prepared to be the salt and light in a world that often rejects godly values?

God Killed My Old Man | Episode 9 | Marriage
In the ninth episode of "God Killed My Old Man," Duane Sheriff teaches about our relationship with Christ. The apostle Paul illustrates our release from the old covenant and union with Christ by using the analogy of marriage to explain our spiritual transformation in Romans 7:1-6.Before salvation, we were "married" to our old sinful nature, bound by the law. However, God put our old self to death, freeing us to be "married" to Christ. In 2 Corinthians 11:2, Paul says, "I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ." We can't be married to both our old sinful nature and Christ simultaneously - it's spiritual adultery. God killed our old man so we can be united with Jesus.Ephesians 5:25-32 highlights the relationship between husbands and wives, comparing it to Christ and the church. Verse 30 emphasizes the intimate connection to Christ, stating, "For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones."
