99. How To Imbue Your Soul With Joy with Sam Gibbs

As we surround ourselves with ambition, there is a danger of being overcome by the warrior inside us all. Some people like to celebrate that kind of mindset, but where will it lead us in the end? If we frame our efforts around the idea of struggle, of domination and power, even challenges we have already overcome can become a burden. By defining ourselves as a survivor, as someone who is locked in a struggle against life, then we will be forever focused on what is coming next, always reacting, and never able to live freely in the moment. Survival mode is no way to live a life of abundance! Sam Gibbs knows the power a frame of mind can have over our life better than most. After spending years trying to 'fix' things that were wrong with him, he realized that beneath all that was an inherent admission that he was somehow 'broken' or 'less than' others. That kind of thinking cannot nourish the love that we have in our hearts, for ourselves or for other people, and in a world where our greatest legacy can only be love, it's our duty to amplify it however we can. We don't need to be perfect to be happy, we're born to be joyful. We don't need to earn happiness and joy, they're our birthrights. We are not survivors, but thrivers! So soften that warrior's soul and put an end to competition. Start collaborating, start building something together. Start helping other people to help everybody else. Our creativity will shift the world. Be always beginning, always learning. Be curious. These are some of the tips that Sam Gibbs leaves us in this episode of The Resilient Minds Podcast. Sam Gibbs is the founder of Surrendr Retreats. He's a guide and healer at The Full F*ck Yes Frequency, a thought leader, and a TEDx Speaker. 98. How To Unlearn The Limitations with David Hans-Barker

Everyone tries to set boundaries on what we are capable of, limits on what we are able to achieve, often because they're settling for less than what their heart tells them they deserve. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Most people accept the limits that society places on them, and never try to push beyond the invisible walls which keep them in their place. But keep pushing and you will discover that those limitations do not manifest. They are not there. Aim for the moon, reach the treetops and keep on building, regardless of what people say. You will get further than you ever imagined. For thousands of years people have achieved the mystical, embraced the psychedelic, and manifested the marvelous. They have done things that anyone will tell you are not possible. David Hans-Barker knows that what people say doesn't matter, not compared to the power of the mind. And in the ancient worlds of gods and mythology, of supernatural powers and superhuman heroes, people believed that extraordinary achievement was possible. And they were right. The same is true for love. We are each of us capable of extraordinary love, of giving all of our hearts fully to others without losing anything at all for ourselves. Society tells us that we can't help everyone, that we can't change the world, so most of us will never even try. But there is love enough in our hearts to share with every person in the world, and need enough for all of us to share freely. So shake off the shackles of society's boundaries and let your mind flow, your heart grow and your soul heal the world. These are some of the tips that David Hans-Barker leaves us in this episode of The Resilient Minds Podcast. David Hans-Barker is the founder of YogiLab, CEO, and head meditation teacher at The Istana - his cliffside retreat centre in Bali. Meditation took David from a life of poverty and pain to becoming an eight-figure-entrepreneur. His mission is simple: to deliver meditation to 80 million people. 97. How To Center Your World On A Stable Self with Aurimas Juodka

We all know that ego can lead us astray sometimes, but how can we develop a healthier relationship with our sense of self? Certainly, denying ourselves and ignoring how we feel is no path to happiness, but always chasing after happiness is a road with no end. Eventually it will leave us totally exhausted, always looking ahead to the next thing, never able to settle, never able to just be present and live in the moment. Regardless of whether it's wealth, fame, popularity, or something else that we feel we need, there will always come a saturation point for our soul. So maybe, rather than manipulating the external world to try and make it give us what we need, we all need to become more centered. We need to deepen our connection with our internal world, speak its language, become familiar with it, and then we can tap into it as a source of infinite peace and tranquility. These techniques have been taught for thousands of years as meditation, but these days so few of us are willing to put in the time and effort to really engage with them. We can be so busy moving forward with our lives that we forget to work on the most important relationship we'll ever have. The one with ourselves. We all need to learn to enjoy ourselves, with ourselves and within ourselves, the single source of stability in a world where everything is always changing. These are some of the tips that Aurimas Juodka leaves us in this episode of The Resilient Minds Podcast. Aurimas Juodka, popularly known as AJ. He is a Founder of Human Optimized, a Co-Founder of The High Performance Retreat. He is an educator, speaker and coach who has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs to tap into pristine mental and physical condition through his coaching. Today, he coaches his clients through online programs, live retreats and seminars. His clients vouch for his multi-faceted methodologies which have transformed their mental and physical health. 96. How To Build Success In A Better World with Chris Naugle

The fallacy of self is a dangerous reality for so many of us these days, and it can lead us astray if we're not careful. It's easy to see ourselves at the center of everything, to always be looking out for number one. Every decision we make, every dream we hold onto, it's all just about ourselves, about getting something in return, but it doesn't have to be. Turning that perspective on its head and focusing on other people is a powerful engine for success. Reorienting your goals towards making this world a better place for everyone will transform your energy and empower your actions in a way you might never have imagined before. Like Chris Naugle says, "It's like flying an airplane with a perpetual tailwind." Chris knows what happens when everything becomes about what we get for ourselves, and how much we can get out of other people. We might find some success in one moment, amass a bunch of money and material wealth, but we can lose it just as easily because it's not built on a strong foundation. Think about it - money comes and goes, that's how it works. We get it with the intention of spending it, holding onto it is only temporary. But working to help others builds something that can last a lifetime. Relationships based on trust, mutual support, love, and wisdom. So dream of a better world. A more loving world, where people can develop their full potential. Then go out there and make it happen. Success will come, but you might not even notice. These are some of the tips that Chris Naugle leaves us in this episode of The Resilient Minds Podcast. Chris has built and owned 19 companies, with his businesses being featured in Forbes, ABC, House Hunters, and his very own HGTV pilot in 2018. He is currently founder of The Money School™, and Money Mentor for The Money Multiplier. As an innovator and visionary in wealth-building and real estate, he empowers entrepreneurs, business owners, and real estate investors with the knowledge of how money works. 95. How To Build Resilience Into Your Daily Life with Aren Singh Bahia

We talk about resilience a lot on this podcast, so it's important to remember what that means with someone who knows from personal experience. It's not always about being 'tough' or only focusing on the masculine energy of life, it's about being compassionate, motivated, and responsible for your choices. It's about bouncing back from the challenges of life, but with the vision and determination to take you somewhere new. Aren Singh Bahia understands the effort it takes to turn your life around, and how that doesn't always look like going 'back' at all. That's why he believes it's better to talk about 'bouncing forward,' about harnessing the momentum of your experiences and using it to power your transformation. From wherever you are, you can always take the decision to launch forward in life, to be kinder to those around you, to generate positive impacts for the world or just to love people more openly. You don't have to wait until you hit a low point to 'bounce back.' Real resilience allows us to overcome difficult times, but it also means holding yourself accountable every step of the way. Knowing yourself, understanding yourself and purifying your inner world can only ever improve your relationship with what's going on outside, so keep an open heart, a loving soul, and a resilient mind. These are some of the tips that Aren Singh Bahia leaves us in this episode of The Resilient Minds Podcast. Aren Singh Bahia is a local businessman, an expat, and yogi. He talks tattoos, vegan food, overcoming addiction and making a fresh start in Ubud. He was born and raised in East Vancouver, Canadian. He has now made a home for himself in Ubud, Bali. After growing up in an environment that led to gangs and addiction, he now owns two of Bali's most beloved centres for art, tattoos, charity and local community bonding. That's when Conscious Arts and Karma House were born. Bahia's new life in Ubud is a world away from his turbulent past, now a dedicated yogi and expat entrepreneur. "Transform your life. 94. How To Lead With Organic Intelligence with Julian Guderley

How do you lead? Leadership often gets confused with control, or even worse, domination. With bending people to our will and enforcing our way of doing things, but it doesn't have to work like that at all. The earth herself teaches us that systems thrive through balance, sensitivity and nuance. We are all part of the planet, so why would it be any different with people? As a leader, we have two choices. We can continue in the old way, placing ourselves above other people and working them for our own benefit, or we can imbue our leadership with the wisdom of nature. Julian Guderley believes that, like regenerative agriculture, which allows the natural world to teach us how to create ideal conditions for life according to its own unique complexity, we can return to the wisdom within ourselves and grow with the people around us. By opening our hearts to the unique strengths of every individual, by appreciating the intricacy and diversity of human nature, we can begin to practice regenerative leadership. Bringing people together from across the social, cultural and economic landscape of the world and providing them with the conditions to flourish and express their creative potential allows everyone to find their perfect niche. As a leader, therefore, we must nourish the world around us with wisdom, insight, guidance and support, empowering those around us, who can then go on to multiply our impact a hundred times over. Healing this world starts with healing its people, embracing who they are and channeling their gifts. This is the new paradigm of natural principles, organic intelligence and compassionate growth. These are some of the tips that Julian Guderley leaves us in this episode of The Resilient Minds Podcast. Julian Guderley is a Transformational Leadership Coach, Breathwork Facilitator & Teacher and a Movement Catalyst. He is on a quest to identify, interview & collaboratively empower the key players in the regenerative movement. 93. How To Embrace Vulnerability As The Source Of Your Strength with Nadav Wilf

Vulnerability might not be something we immediately associate with leadership. Many of us grew up with infallible superhuman action heroes, who never put a foot wrong or suffered a moment of doubt, but those days are over. People need leaders who they can relate to, who they can make a human connection with. For those of us who dedicate ourselves to guiding others on their journey, the pressure to be perfect can sometimes be a massive hindrance to our own sense of wellbeing. Many of us find ourselves worrying that if we don't have all the answers, are we really going to be able to inspire people, or even to help them? It's a question that Nadav Wilf has struggled with, and I know that I have too. The truth is that lessons in life come from experience, from walking the path and getting your feet dirty along the way, stumbling now and then, but always keeping moving. Every wrong foot and every mistake we make are lessons which we can share with others. Figuring out how life is supposed to work is something that we can only do together, and each of us are both student and teacher. Everyone who comes to you brings their own unique circumstances and perspective, and that's what helps fill the gaps in your own knowledge. None of us are perfect, no one has all the answers. Sometimes we get tired, we feel discouraged or we wonder if all this is really worth it. And that's okay. It's part of what makes us human. Living our challenges and overcoming them is exactly what makes a leader, a kindred spirit, a sincere and genuine example for others to follow. So be sure of yourself. Not because you are always right, but because you will always learn. These are some of the tips that Nadav Wilf leaves us in this episode of The Resilient Minds Podcast. Nadav Wilf is a spiritual entrepreneur. After building and selling 2 startups, he wasn't fulfilled so he embarked on a journey to find his passion, in what he calls a Passion Pivot. 92. How To Embrace The Wisdom Of Your Intuition with Britnie Turner

Nobody is responsible for your life but you. Does that sound scary? It shouldn't. So many people in this world are driven by fear, fear of judgement from other people, fear of failure, and even fear of themselves. Taking responsibility for our life is a big deal, but whether we do it or not doesn't change the basic reality. We are all on our own path, and while people may come and go from our lives, and we can try and put the responsibility for our choices on them, at the end of the day it all comes back to us. That's why it's so important to be free from fear and trust in the deepest wisdom of our heart. Be confident in your intuition, and take the best decision you can at any given moment based on the information you have and the means available to you. There's no such thing as 'the right' decision, we are all in a process of learning and discovery, but allowing ourselves to have faith in our own judgement will free us to keep on going, no matter what. We are all incredibly lucky to be born into a world of immense opportunity, where knowledge and wisdom are right there, at our fingertips. That means it's up to us, to make those connections, to build that understanding, and to transform our world into something genuinely fulfilling, for ourselves and also for others. These are some of the tips that Britnie Turner leaves us in this episode of The Resilient Minds Podcast. She has used these insights to do incredible things, and I'm honored to have had the chance to share some of her wisdom and help guide people towards taking that first step towards grace. Britnie Turner founded Aerial at the age of 21 with the mission of elevating people and places. 91. How To Ignite The Brilliance Of Your Life with Stephen Scoggins

Where you are today doesn't have to define your tomorrow. Whatever your situation right now, it doesn't take much to transform your life, you just need the right elements in place. Maybe you're holding on to some negativity or suffering from your past, maybe that makes you doubt yourself, and question whether you've really got what it takes to bring about real positive change. Maybe you're stuck in the same old daily routine. If that sounds like you, if your past is dragging you down, then you need to think seriously about changing your environment. We've all got that spark of brilliance inside of us, the energy of spontaneous creation, but no one can light a fire underwater! In the same way, we've got to be in the right circumstances to really achieve something extraordinary. All our efforts in life are like the spark from striking two stones together - just waiting for the right environment to catch light and blaze brightly for the world to see, so make sure you get yourself in the right place, surrounded by the right people and the right energy. The rest will take care of itself. Once the flame is burning inside us all we have to do is keep feeding it with more fuel, more energy and drive and determination, and it will light the way for us wherever we go. These are some of the tips that Stephen Scoggins leaves us in this episode of The Resilient Minds Podcast. 90. How To Enrich Your Life and Live It To The Fullest with Laura Hof

You've probably heard people talk about your 'inner child' and how important it can be. But what is it about children which makes their worldview so unique and powerful? We are constantly warned away from things, reminded of our responsibilities and discouraged from our dreams no matter how fiercely the desire for transformation burns within us. We are confronted with this idea of an ugly and uncompromising reality, a world defined by our limitations. A world of fear. It's this fear that makes some parents push their children into conformity, what they think is a 'safer' path, into a certain career or a certain kind of education, and can eventually lead them away from their dreams. We are told that our dreams are too big and fantastical to ever become reality. We learn to accept limitations and to stick to what we know. But we are not born that way. Children exist as creative individuals in the purest form because their creativity knows no boundaries. They don't know what is or isn't possible, they don't care! Nothing gets in the way of their dreaming and imagination. That's why when they find something they love, something they can channel their raw creative energy into, they can achieve so much so quickly. It's not because they're stronger or smarter than we are as adults, it's because they're less constrained by their own mind, and free to go beyond what people expect. These are the tips that Laura Hof leaves us in this episode of The Resilient Minds Podcast. Laura Hof, is the daughter of Wim Hof "The Iceman", a certified Wim Hof Method Instructor, the Head of Events & Relations of Innerfire, and the Co-Founder of IceWomen_Community and the Founder of Laura Hof Alchemy. She believes strongly that every one of us has that fire burning inside us, just waiting to be ignited with passion. That by reconnecting with that childlike sense of pure mental freedom, we can also achieve extraordinary things.
