Highly Sensitive Entrepreneurs • 176
We will learn:
How to turn obstacles into advantages as a highly sensitive entrepreneur
The biggest ways HSEs get in their own way
The best energy management techniques for HSEs to thrive
Do you consider yourself a sensitive person? Do you have a low threshold for stimulation; a need for alone time; sensitivity to light, sound, and smell; and an aversion to large groups? These are all characteristics that describe what Dr. Elaine Aron has termed a “Highly Sensitive Person”, or HSP. HSPs tend to love nature and quiet environments, and they love helping others. Sometimes they might feel like their sensitivities are a weakness, especially living in a society where productivity is often valued over quality. Today’s episode focuses specifically on entrepreneurs who are highly sensitive. We’ll dive into techniques that will teach you not only how to effectively manage your life as an HSP, but also how to thrive in your career. Our guest Heather Dominick is the expert on Highly Sensitive Entrepreneurs. She has appeared on Lifetime Television and has been published in numerous books including “Stepping Stones to Success” alongside Deepak Chopra. Links:

How to Be More Confident • X36
Subscribe in Apple Podcasts or at mindlove.com for the full episode!
We will learn:
How our crappy unsupportive thoughts about others affect our one confidence
Why confident people don’t compete and are not jealous
How to harness the qualities of confident people no matter what our personality is right now
Often, the idea of confidence is associated with a specific personality - the person who walks into a room and commands attention. The person who is really sure about who they are and what they have to offer, so they show up in the world a little more boldly than the rest.
It is easy for us to look at people like this and think, “If I only had what they had, I would be confident too.” We tend to think the grass is greener, but usually it’s just a different situation with a different set of complexities.
So if our looks, money, and achievements aren’t the source of confidence, where does true confidence come from?
Today Elle Russ will teach us how to build confidence regardless of our personality type. She’s the author of Confident As Fu*k, a TV/Film writer and the host of two podcasts: The Primal Blueprint Podcast & Kick Ass Life Podcast.

Assembling Your Tribe • 174
We will learn:
How your self-worth affects your friendships
How to get comfortable having necessary conversations to keep your friendships strong and moving forward
A unique formula for building your tribe
In the current world of social media and online personalities, the word “friend” can take on so many meanings. But today, when we talk about friendship, we are talking about those deep, meaningful relationships that make life’s challenges easier to bear. Those loving, supportive people who see you for who you really are. When you think about your closest friends, do you feel like you can be yourself in front of them? Do you feel uplifted by them or judged by them? Can you share your deepest concerns with them, or does your connection feel more superficial? It is scientifically proven that the quality of our friendships impacts our health. If those closest to us affect us so deeply, we should be picky about who we share our energy and time with. That’s what we’re talking about today. Our guest is Leah Dean. She is a leadership coach and the author of “Assemble the Tribe”. She helps women unleash their unique value, redefine their tribes and reimagine how they show up in the world. Links:

Sharing Your Truth to Deepen Friendships • X35
We will learn:
Why your fears about oversharing are probably invalid
How to get past your fear of shame
How to add more depth to your friendships
What do people really know about you? Do you have things that you just wouldn’t dare share?
Think about it: We wonder why we feel lonely but at the same time, we don’t tend to let people in. How can we feel fully known or accepted if most people don’t even really know who we are?
We spend a lot of time and effort crafting these perfect lives to post online. We spend hours scrolling through each others’ highlight reels. Then we have a false sense of comparison of how the world and the people in it really are.
Our struggles, and the things we view as imperfections, are all part of the human experience and they’re more common than you might realize.
What if, instead of hiding your perceived flaws, you opened up a little? What if you trusted that you’re always doing the best you can with what you know at the time and felt worthy no matter how many little mistakes you’ve made?
How freeing would that feel? How would your friendships change if they were based on the real you instead of this curated version of you? How would your conversations change if they went further than surface level?
Well today we’re gonna open up a little. Or at least learn how.
Our guest is Laura Tremaine. She is a writer and fellow podcaster. Each week on her podcast 10 Things To Tell You, Laura asks a question that listeners take to their journal, social media, or use to spark a great conversation. Her first book Share Your Stuff. I'll Go First is all about opening up and forming deeper friendships but getting a little more personal.

Discover Your Dharma • 173
We will learn:
What dharma is and the 4 types of dharma
The 5 stages of dharma discovery
The 9 Dharma Archetypes and how to find out which one we are
Is who you are defined by what you do, or is what you do defined by who you are? Today we’re talking about dharma - your purpose, or universal nature. When we think of purpose, we often think of our careers. But defining yourself by your career is extremely limiting when you think about it. Especially when you consider who you really are - a divine being, living a human experience. It is natural for us to manufacture stories about ourselves based on our human experience, but using these stories to define ourselves doesn’t leave much room for expansion. So what if instead, we tapped into our true nature - or dharma - and used it as the guiding compass for all the choices we make in life? Today’s guest Sahara Rose, 3-time best-selling author, speaker, and podcast host will guide us through this process of self-discovery. She will explain how to let go of the manufactured personality that you’ve developed over the years, and fully identify with the divine being that you are to unlock your limitless potential. Links:

Managing Crisis and Chronic Stress • X34
We will learn:
How chronic stress can cause permanent damage to our brains
How symptoms of chronic stress relate to your past experiences
A proven 5-step model to help manage chronic stress
Trauma sticks with us. We form beliefs about ourselves and the world and other people and it affects how we show up. We stress ourselves out over the little things and it becomes a habit.
We resist what is, usually starting with our thoughts. And we create habits of thought that make our lives harder.
This includes the little things in life. And if you’re not careful, you can actually permanently damage your own brain.
So today, we’re talking about how to deal with stress in a crisis and how to heal your brain and body from all the stress you created before you knew better.
Our guest is Dr. Jennifer Love. She is on the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Addiction Medicine. She has created a proven model to manage chronic stress and has worked with thousands of patients who have undergone trauma and loss.

The Link Between Food and Perfectionism • 172
We will learn:
How to untangle the lies we hold about ourselves
How to make peace with shame
How to build emotional resilience
What does perfectionism have to do with food? Perfectionism is the tendency to hold unrealistically high standards. This mindset can carry beyond work or projects. Often perfectionists also bring this mindset into their expectations for their own bodies. It’s also a common trait in people with eating disorders BUT that’s not the only way it manifests. You may restrict your food or beat yourself up when you don’t adhere to a certain way of eating. Skipping your workout one day feels like an epic fail. Or maybe you just spend way too much time trying to live up to your own impossibly high standards. What would it feel like to let all of that go? What would it feel like to feel free and comfortable in your body. To trust your body’s signals and eat from a place of nourishment… to allow yourself the reward of pleasure food without feeling bad about it, knowing that you can have a muffin without eating all the muffins. Today our guest is Iona Holloway. She is an author, coach, and speaker. She helps women stop shrinking their bodies, worth, and power through vulnerability, creativity, and breathwork. She’s also the author of Ghost: Why Perfect Women Shrink.Links:

Have you ever considered the biggest difference between the wealthy and the average household earner might be their mindsets? Well today we’re learning that problems with money are never about the money. So where do problems with money come from? And how do we start to develop a wealth mindset?
