Get yourself an accountability buddy, someone who is going to challenge you and push you, someone who is like-minded. That’s been massive for me. And if you’re limited for time, jump in a DMO.

507: Special episode on the Top Business and Life Lessons from 2018 by Simon Chan
Happy holidays and happy new year! In this episode, I want to share some top business and life lessons as we reflect back on the year. The reasons I do this podcast are to share business and productivity lessons I’ve learned about getting more energy, time management skills, and other useful tips. I hope to inspire you and help you take your business to the next level.
Take time to recap your year. When you really think about it, you probably have done more than you realize. When I did this, it allowed me to realize everything I accomplished this year, instead of only focusing on the negatives.
I define personal growth as when you are challenged and you keep going. One of the things my mentor taught me is, success is not built on success. Success is built on problems, frustration, and failure.
Personal Accomplishments
One of the personal lessons was back in January when I went to men’s retreat. I realized I wasn’t playing big and bold enough in my faith. Whatever you believe in, be more bold in it.
Another important thing I practiced this year was to stop comparing myself to other people. It’s easy to see top income earners, people crushing it, and you tend to get a sense of inspiration and also jealousy and envy. Everyone looks good on social media. We’re all dealt different cards. It’s all about what you make with those cards.
And finally, I learned to make a commitment to what is important, and that it is crucial to be able to adapt. This year I made a commitment to spending time with kids, especially when it comes to sports. And in regards to adaptation, my three sons now attend different schools. So I had to adjust to make the most of my day.
Professional Accomplishments
One of the biggest professional accomplishments was No BS No Hype, our big event held in Brisbane, Australia. The event was attended by 500-700 people, and we are very much looking forward to next year’s event, which takes place August 24th and 25th. For more information, go to mlmnation.com/nobs2019.
Another big undertaking this year was changing our focus in MLM Nation. Our new focus is helping people create consistency and accountability. We also created our membership group, MLM Insiders. 506: DMO Heores "How To Keep Going When You Suffer a Major Setback" by L.B. Subba
Who is L.B. Subba?
He is an immigrant from Bhutan and grew in a refugee camp in Nepal. He came to the United States 10 years ago as a refugee with $13 dollars in his pocket and his elderly mom. Now, he's a dad of beautiful two and a half-year-old daughter.
He didn't have a business background prior to coming to the US. He used to be a teacher back in Bhutan but started a career in Network Marketing back in 2009.
He started his business with his current company back in 2011 and has been able to accomplish the $100k earner club back in 2015.
Best Advice
There are lots of people with opinions toward you. Get back to your reason as to why you are doing this business. Always refer to those reasons when you have any challenges.

505: How to create long term vision over immediate gratification to build a global organization of thousands by Anthony and Kate Golle
An important exercise to create your vision:
Write down a list of 100 benefits and reasons of building a business that serves yourself. What are you going to get out of it? How’s it going to make your life better? How can you live a better life? Then list another 100 reasons why you get to be able to make an impact on others. Looking at that list to see what you can create is compelling, and it will make you dream bigger and do more every single day.
Who are Anthony and Kate Golle?
Anthony and Kate Golle are high school sweethearts and have 3 kids, 6, 8 & 10 years old. Anthony is a Chiropractor and they owned 5 Wellness Centres.
They’ve produced a health documentary called Overfed & Undernourished and also authored the book, Raising Healthy Families in Unhealthy Times.
They said “No” to network marketing for over 6 years before they finally got started. Once they committed to the profession, they were able to sell 4 of their traditional businesses.
Anthony and Kate reached the top positions in their company and live on the beach with our 3 kids between the Gold Coast & Byron Bay.
One Habit
Kate: Working on our vision has really been a huge thing.
Anthony: Zero lag time. When we are at an event or seminar, we are half listening. We are already starting to apply what they say.
Best Advice
Kate: When you are more loyal to the opinion of yourself than anyone else, then you will live the life that you really truly deserve.
Anthony: Find your values and live life through them. If you’re living through “should’s”, that’s other people’s injected values on your own.

Best Advice
I encourage you guys to have faith in the journey because it’s not about the endpoint. Your goals at the end will constantly change. As the journey occurs, you develop and you grow and that’s the exciting thing. Don’t focus on the endpoint. Still, have your vision, but enable it to change as you grow and develop.

503: How to Approach Successful People and the Importance of Timing by Doug Parker
“I get up every morning, bright and early. Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. And so I go to bed early. I get up and grind it out and just keep on going, no matter what.”
Doug Parker has learned first hand the importance of duplication and he shares the tools he uses to achieve it; invitation, presentation, and validation. Throughout his career, he has found that sticking with the basics is a critical technique for growth. Doug also describes how to recruit up and he details the process of onboarding a prospect from start to finish.
Who is Doug Parker?
Doug Parker grew up in rural East Texas and became an entrepreneur at an early age. In the last 20 years, he has led multiple companies to success including a financial services company that was chosen by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in America.
Along the way, one of his employees introduced him to network marketing in 2013. Doug was impressed and got started with the goal for his MLM business to create an extra income stream to cover all his monthly expenses and to send his two kids to college.
Today, Doug is a network marketing leader who leads an organization of over 2,000 consultants and over 4,000 customers. He’s a National Consultant, a Top 50 Income Earner in his company and has won multiple awards for a billion dollars company.

Who is Udembaozoh Uche?
Udembaozoh Uche started his career in 2007 after his college degree education. In 2010, he got married to his sweetheart and at that point, it became clear to him that salary will not be enough for him to live his dream lifestyle.
After a couple of unsuccessful attempts at creating a network marketing business, he and his wife decided to try again in February 2018 after Uche lost his job. This time, they were very clear about what they wanted and were focused to make it work. Along the line, Uche discovered MLMNation Insider and fell in love with the online duplication system taught by Simon Chan. In six months, they kick-started a growing team which they are passionate about and excited to work with.

Whatever is worth doing, is worth doing until you’re good at it. If you are going to be a network marketer, choose to be a professional. Choose to be focused. Choose to have clarity on what you want to do with your life, and go for it.

Who is Sarah Zammit?
Sarah Zammit left the corporate world to have kids. She has two boys, ages 10 and 11 and though she loved to be a mom, like many, she felt unfulfilled just being at home. She found herself starting to lose self-confidence and self-belief and needed something to do other than being a stay at home mom. She was looking for a purpose. Sarah tried many things such as being a makeup artist, personal training, real estate, working in a pizza shop, etc but nothing really clicked for her. She also couldn’t go back to work full time since her husband worked 12-hour rotating shifts and someone needed to be home to take home of the kids.
Then one day a friend introduced her to some products that she really liked and she decided to do network marketing as a hobby. Before she knew it, not only has Sarah got a great source of extra income but she’s finally found her purpose and passion.
Best Advice
I would just say stop overthinking it. I used to be the biggest overthinker and I think the biggest thing for me now is I don’t overthink it. I just get it done and I’m having fun with it. And I’m actually finding people are really responsive. I’ve made so many more new connections, new friends, doing the DMO than I ever did spending 3 hours fluffing on Facebook.

499: How to Create Insane Duplication and Build a Business With Over 100,000 Customers by Christopher Hughes

Christopher Hughes has many important tools and techniques to be successful in network marketing. One such tool is the 8 filters of duplication. He also explains the process of imprinting, and that 90% of training a new prospect is done before they even enroll. He shares a powerful lesson he learned in integrity; doing the right thing when no one is watching. Finally, Christopher explains the 7 pillars of uncommon freedom and the positive effect of implementing effective systems.
Who is Christopher Hughes?
Christopher Hughes went to high school for six years, had three senior years. Then decided to go to college for 5 years, and after five years, dropped out. He had 27 jobs by the time he turned 27. Then he got started in network marketing. In 10 years he became a million dollar earner and was a top 20 earner out of over 400,000 reps. Recently he was promoted to one of the top company positions, senior vice president. He’s also a part of the Hughes Brothers dynasty, which is the only family in network marketing. There are 4 siblings who all became million dollar or multi-million dollar earners in the same company.
He’s become a best selling author of 8 books and programs, including one called Insane Duplication. He also has his own podcast, The Above Ground Railroad: Your Path to Uncommon Freedom.
