In this episode, we want to take a look at an important scenario for your investing: How do you go about evaluating syndicators like an expert?  For over 16 years, vetting syndicators has played a major role in our business strategy. So I want to break down a bit of my experience and expertise here and give you the most important questions to ask yourself and your syndicators, as well as some hard to find tips you can go out and apply right away. Get engaged, jump right into the conversation, and let’s look at how to evaluate a syndicator like a PRO!  Quotes • “You can't skirt the team and just get so focused on the project or the deal of the returns, quite honestly. Imagine being told you’re crazy and your market will never make any money but then swooping into it anyway right before it explodes into a thriving industry!  Sandra Williams is a construction manager, entrepreneur, and investor. She has been Vice President of Northstar Construction and Development, LLC for the past 6 years.  What’s super fascinating is she went from custom home builds to flipping, and now she's doing reuse projects, new builds, and a heap of construction projects that are all aligned with the market that she's in.  In this episode, Sandra gives some impactful tips on trusting your gut even when it goes against the grain and being a leader in your market by looking at what's needed and leveraging creative reuse to make it happen! There are a ton of skills that we need to have in the real estate space for sure. But today, we’re going to hone in on the NUMBER ONE skill every single real estate investor needs to have to crush it: problem solving! If you are an investor who is learning, scaling, and growing, then you either are facing - or will face some massive problems on your journey. Throughout the whole process, you have to continue to train your problem solving muscles. Today we're going to talk about two things that are potentially ruining your team culture. Number one is not having specific roles, and number two, having very rigid roles.  These two things are not just detrimental to your team but to your finances and scalability as well! Team development is a muscle you need to strengthen over time. Like any relationship, it’s ok not to get it right at first as long as it’s improving and getting better. So we’re going to break down the issues that stem from these two problems, how to establish a better team culture, and specific questions to ask so you can give yourself and your team a little audit to adjust.
