Today on The Hammerbarn Project, the lads follow up on last week with the inevitable Grannies sequel. Like all good sequels, there’s a bit of fun, a bit of randomness and – it’s on wheels. There’s slide construction, unsolicited first aid suggestions we do NOT recommend, squares vs circles and even more spin-off shows. We even have proof that the Australian Government is recommending Bluey! Wait, what were we talking about again? 

This week on the Hammerbarn Project, the lads get to one of the most memorable episodes that everyone can relate to – those cheeky Grannies! With everything from selective hearing, cheeky winks to camera, and a funny word, these oldies are set to rock your world and cause a ruckus! Were you and your friends as funny at that age? How often do the Heelers clean their oven? Chilli investigates. And which performance reminds us of a Monty Python great? And it wouldn’t be another ep without another new Brendan Pun – does it get a passing grade? 

This week on the Hammerbarn Project, Brendan butchers our intro BUT – we finally get to workshop one of those awesome puns and create a new one! Which shows that perseverance pays off… (pun!) Which one of us is most likely to drink off the floor? As we build our podcast world, so does Bluey enter the world of world-building. In the form of a backpack. But is there conflict a brewing – when is a characters name not their name? So prepare to scunge your knees as we race around the basketball court in fifth gear! 

Today on The Hammerbarn Project, the lads subvert expectations and jump ahead to review not episode 3, but where-ever the road takes us. There's a lot of favourite things in here, including Marty's love/study of video games, Brendan's love of Jaguars (the cars, not the cats) and Frank's love of Bandit and their shared disdain for anything else on the road. So please fasten your seatbelts and keep your arms inside the vehicle at all times as we do our best to avoid grey-nomads and roadworks. 

We're back for our first official ep review and where better to start than the 7mins that started it all! Brendan unleashes some puns that vary in their success. Does the Xylophone actually have magic powers? Despite looking like a Bandit-episode, which character outshines him? And does the phrase Ding Dong translate internationally? Who didn't do their research?
