Today on the show, it starts with a bad idea. But, you're used to that by now, right? Welcome to the Shadowlands! The game you KNOW you've played for real life. We go a bit retro in our gaming references all while comparing Aussie and English weather conditions. And did Frank MISS a cricket reference? TWICE? Oh and we invented Bluey the computer game guys. Secret level and concept art included. Keep listening right to the end to find out who was right! 

It's a very 90s beginning to this episodes centered around a very 80s food shop. But are the prices 1970s or 2010? Can you successfully enjoy Bluey with only 3 characters? Along the way, we discover Bandit and his vice, Bingo and her existential questions, Marty and a plot to make him say big(ger) words, a Bluey-themed bus tour and even how two words can say a multitude of things. I'm hungry.

Today on the show, it's all about HOW parents talk to their kids. And it's got nothing to do with Bandit. But maybe, Tim Allen. Marty damn near loses his mind at the design deep-cuts of the Dalmatian household. And then Brendan goes on a Greek-inspired language rant. And Frank, well Frank just eats glue. Along the way we invent some new Bluey merch and make Brendan cry multiple times. So here's to you Chloe's Dad. Wait, does he have a name? We might need to phone a friend to find out the answer...

Hello Dr. Marty! That’s right, our fave Sydney-sider is still with us as we tackle our first ep featuring the cast of Blueys friends. It’s tough to top the fab four but who ranks among our favourite? Rusty, Indy, Snickers – Calypso? It’s a tale of two erm, tales involving everything from Magic Circles, pedagogy, un-finished sentances and even Jim Henson. The show even manages to clean up an old-timey school-yard song that we couldn’t repeat on air. We also learn more about Brendan’s for-real-life school and even study the weather. (Trust me, it’s funner than that sounds!) It’s a boy!

It’s a special day on the show – as the man, the myth, the legendary Mighty Mighty Marty has joined us in person! And what better episode to talk to than the one that spawned the shows name. What begins as competitive neighbours takes us to unexpected places including the Matrix, Husbands copping it, Fancy Names and employees who are dead inside. Did Frank get another characters name wrong? What does Brendan order from the famed sausage sizzle? And how good are those price tags?!? Put us in the same room and you get new features: an outro for the ages! *no-look high five*

Today on The Hammerbarn Project, it’s one of those eps that makes everyone go “Awwww”. You’d be forgiven for not catching everything in this ep cause it is brimming with amazing moments. We go full circle from 2001 Sci-Fi, the tale of evolution and the circle of life. Reminder: THIS IS A KIDS SHOW! Along the way we cover our own flat-pack building experiences and learn a little more about Marty and Brendans work history. Are Chilli and Bandit Greek Gods? How much foam is REALLY in those boxes? And did we just invent DogKEA? 

Today on the Hammerbarn Project, the lads venture into a typically female-dominated space as we tell the birthing process through the eyes of Bandit. Ok so technically, Arnie did it first in Junior, but which line had us crying with laughter? (There are multiple answers to this question) We also address previous controversy around the name of Lucky’s Dad. All the while Chilli rolls up the newspaper while somewhere in the breeze you can hear John Williamson… So plan the car trip, have the go-bag and the baby playlist at the ready, cause it’s time to be BORN! Morning Wendy! 

Today on The Hammerbarn Project, the lads follow up on last week with the inevitable Grannies sequel. Like all good sequels, there’s a bit of fun, a bit of randomness and – it’s on wheels. There’s slide construction, unsolicited first aid suggestions we do NOT recommend, squares vs circles and even more spin-off shows. We even have proof that the Australian Government is recommending Bluey! Wait, what were we talking about again? 

This week on the Hammerbarn Project, the lads get to one of the most memorable episodes that everyone can relate to – those cheeky Grannies! With everything from selective hearing, cheeky winks to camera, and a funny word, these oldies are set to rock your world and cause a ruckus! Were you and your friends as funny at that age? How often do the Heelers clean their oven? Chilli investigates. And which performance reminds us of a Monty Python great? And it wouldn’t be another ep without another new Brendan Pun – does it get a passing grade?
