Do you need to wish peace and good will to your enemies? In this audio segment, Nancy asks Patrick Madrid about the phrase "Peace to people of goodwill." She wonders if it means we should not offer peace to people without goodwill, especially when she experienced harassment at work. Patrick explains that the phrase comes from the angels' song in Bethlehem, and it can be seen as both descriptive and prescriptive. It describes the reality that having goodwill brings peace, both towards God and towards fellow humans. It also prescribes that to have peace, one should have goodwill towards others and God.

Frank - Thank you for talking about praying to your little sister who died in childhood. I had a similar situation. Is it okay for me to ask my brother that I can join him before I become senile? Should I go to confession for this? Lucy - I saw the movie Sound of Freedom and it was so powerful. I cried so much, it was clean but it was real. Aaron - How is Sedevacantism in Schism? Pat - I am trying to come back to the Church. I am confused about masturbation and plastic surgery. Are they a sin? My pastor says they are not. Guadalupe - I'm 78 years old and Got a tattoo on my chest in order for me to have radiation treatment. So I think there are times when tattoos are needed

I thought Mary was the spouse of the Holy Spirit but the book makes her sound like the spouse of everyone. How do I reconcile this? Email - What does it mean to “take away the sins of the world” and how do we know that Jesus’ sacrifice was effective?  Andrew (email) – Should I council my sister and give her advice not to move in with her boyfriend? Joan - When I was 10, I spent the night at a friend’s house and had a bad experience. I was exposed to porn. Jerry - How can I encourage my Granddaughter to baptize her baby? Ray - I am Native American in Western American tribe. People need to know that we have our own government and if someone is drilling here than our government permitted it and it’s okay. Patrick is fascinated by Ray being a Catholic Native American and asks him about sweat lodges, dream catchers, and about other aspects of the Native American culture John - Can you baptize a baby if the Catholic parents are not good Catholics and don't want to have anything to do with baptism? Patricia - We are going to the Guadalupe festival and my 8-year-old daughter is wondering how we can prepare for the pilgrimage? Kathy - A priest gave others communion on the tongue but when I came up he said I had to receive on the hand. That confused me. What should I do? Kimberly - If someone baptized another person without pouring the water over the head, is it valid? Eileen - Do the plenary indulgences work when praying along with the Family Rosary Across America?
