Everyone has some kind of talent but relying on capacity to perform is a life lived in the privilege of what we can do. It limits us to be just who we are, who we’ve been told we are and what comes naturally. What God calls us to is growth, which requires effort and persistence. There’s a reason balloons are symbols of celebration. They're bright, joyful and lift our spirits. As Christians, we're called to be the voices of hope in the world. It’s nice to feel special but what’s even more important is making other people feel special. Children need to be made to feel special and it’s adults who assure them that they are. When it comes to your spirituality or faith, are you spiritually mature? Or is it time to grow up?
