Fadi Kafeety of the Jerusalem Fund had a long conversation with Bob about the current crisis in the Middle East. Bob had a great conversation w/ Charles Glass, who was the ABC News correspondent from the Middle East throughout the 80s and 90s, and has written countless books and articles about the region. We’ve long known that the fossil fuel industry, and front groups like the Western States Petroleum Association, has created a system of denial and disinformation to prevent the public from knowing the full extent of the damage they’ve inflicted on the climate. But new revelations show that their knowledge goes back to the 1950s. Now, as the city of Los Angeles is burning, and a president who calls climate change a “hoax” is about to re-enter office, these revelations are more important than ever.
