Kristin Smart was a 19-year-old college student at California Polytechnic University when she disappeared in 1996. By all accounts, she was happily married to chef Daniel Brophy at the time. But then Dan who worked as a Chef at the Oregon Culinary Institute as an instructor was found murdered by one of his students. Later surveillance cameras would show Nancy's van circling the crime scene while she told police she was still in bed. After being arrested she conveniently couldn't remember what happened during the hour she drove around the murder scene. She chalked up her inconsistencies to shock. Sheree Warren left her job in Salt Lake City on a mild October evening in 1985. She told a coworker she was headed to meet her estranged husband, Charles Warren, at a car dealership.
