Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Virgil van Dijk’s successful ACL surgery, whilst also admitting Fabinho will miss Saturday’s visit of West Ham. Speaking to the media ahead of Saturday’s return to Premier League action, Klopp spoke on a number of topics regarding van Dijk’s injury and recovery. The manager also had praise for coach Vitor Matos in the ‘exceptional’ progress made by Rhys Williams. He also confirmed Fabinho will miss the game while both Thiago Alcantara and Naby Keita are progressing well in their recovery from injury.
