6 Questions to Be Ready For When He Wants to Date Your Daughter
It's still a good idea to have a meeting with the young man who wants to take your daughter on a date. It's not old-fashioned at all, in fact it's extremely helpful to your daughter, but only if she wants that. Do, or will your daughters have this conviction? If they don't you won't get the chance to meet with him anyways. In the age of rampant pornography addiction it's even more important! Isaac and Angie discuss the six questions every father should ask when he meets with the young man who wants to date his daughter. This will be helpful regardless of your parenting season as so much of it depends also on how you raise them, which is also mentioned in this episode.Be sure to subscribe to the show to be notified every Tuesday of a new episode!Access the podcast right here, but also on Apple, Spotify,Companies we love who sponsor the show:BRAVE Books bravebooks.com/courageousCTC Math https://ctcmath.com/REDEEM™ HealthShare from Samaritan Ministries: https://redeemhealthshare.org/Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/courageous-parenting/donations

Parent with relational discipleship or fall to pharisaical christianity
If relational discipleship isn’t strong in your home, you are likely moving towards pharisaical Christianity which will hurt your legacy. What happens in the home is the largest difference maker on experiencing a faith-filled legacy or not. Unfortunately too many Christian parents believe their being effective when God has actually called us to a deeper level of relational discipleship with their children. This episode will help you see if there are any areas you have a pharisaical home, or if it’s truly one of cultivating deep relationships with you, their siblings, and with Jesus. It’s also vital that discipleship is woven through the fabric of your everyday parenting. Here’s a warning: If you don’t reach their hearts early, it will only be harder as they get older when it matters most. You need their hearts to be able to continue discipling them well into the teenage years too. While it’s never too late, there’s also no time to spare as so many children from christian homes are getting lured into following the patterns of the world.Companies we love who sponsor the show:BRAVE Books bravebooks.com/courageousCTC Math https://ctcmath.com/REDEEM™ HealthShare from Samaritan Ministries: https://redeemhealthshare.org/Access the podcast right here, but also on Apple, Spotify, Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/courageous-parenting/donations

Going Against The Grain, Hard Conversations, & Thriving
If you want a thriving family in the future you will need to go against the grain even in Christian circles as you raise your children. Sometimes what’s best for your family is in a different direction than what people in your community are doing. For over twenty years the Tolpin’s have gone against the grain in numerous ways that they are contributing to the fruit they see today in their family of nine children. They discuss how to have the hard conversations and encouragement to do so. The reality of the pressures on parents to go along to get along, but the warning that we should always do what is likely to have the most fruitful outcomes in raising our children even if there’s relational cost with others. But also encouragement that there doesn’t have to be a relational cost and to move forward in love without fear as you make your intentional parenting decisions. KIDS Must Develop Creative Skills to Succeed in an AI Dominated Future
Could encouraging the creative side of your children better prepare them for their future that will be dominated by AI? Yes and we believe it’s required as it improves problem solving skills, emotional intelligence, creates more neurological connections, improves memory, spacial awareness, fine motor skills, resiliency, and greater confidence. Let’s face it, machines will be able to do many things humans do, but even better. This is part of cultivating producers versus consumers in society, people who are proactive in making their unique contributions and having a resilient mindset as they navigate a changing world. Nurturing their creative side will be a huge contribution to their differentiation in an increasingly homogenized world because of Artificial Intelligence. Get practical insights from the Tolpins who have and are raising their nine children to be equipped and ready for a different world. Take a unique look at what they’ve done and are doing too in order to foster the creativity in their children.Be sure to subscribe to the show to be notified every Tuesday of a new episode!Companies we love who sponsor the show:CTC Math https://ctcmath.com/REDEEM HealthShare from Samaritan Ministries: https://redeemhealthshare.org/BRAVE Books bravebooks.com/courageousCreating a Masterpiece; the preferred Art course by the Tolpin children creatingamasterpiece.com/courageousAccess the podcast right here, but also on Apple, Spotify,Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/courageous-parenting/donations

Are You Worried Your Kids Won’t Find a Spouse?
It’s a valid concern when you’re raising your children to live biblically with so many around you following after the world. Isaac and Angie give five keys to helping your children have a biblical mindset towards finding their future spouse. There’s actually no need to be worried at all as long as you do two things; firstly trust God, and secondly take action in raising and equipping your children with biblical wisdom on this subject. If you do things well your children will end up with a list of key things they are looking for in a spouse that they won’t waiver on. The episode gets very personal when Isaac mentions that Angie had to adjust her list to marry him. Hear Angie’s response; Was she settling or was her list unrealistic? Abortion Shame to Redemption & Insider View on Christian Health Sharing
No matter how wayward a child is, God can bring them back. Be encouraged by this incredible story of a once fifteen year old boy sharing about his girlfriend at the time having an abortion which drove the teenage couple deeper into drug use and despair. The dad shares this raw story dispelling the myth that there’s any situation where it’s good for the mom to kill her child as the drugs soon after killed her. The boy went from homeless shelter, to bible college to working for Samaritan Ministries and having a wonderful family. He also gives an inside view of Christian health sharing and the new program Samaritan Ministries just launched called Redeem Health Sharing which the Tolpins enthusiastically just signed up for and you’ve got to find out why.
