Part of equipping your children is giving biblical perspectives on the important events and issues of our time. It's still a good idea to have a meeting with the young man who wants to take your daughter on a date. It's not old-fashioned at all, in fact it's extremely helpful to your daughter, but only if she wants that. Do, or will your daughters have this conviction? If relational discipleship isn’t strong in your home, you are likely moving towards pharisaical Christianity which will hurt your legacy. What happens in the home is the largest difference maker on experiencing a faith-filled legacy or not. Unfortunately too many Christian parents believe their being effective when God has actually called us to a deeper level of relational discipleship with their children. This episode will help you see if there are any areas you have a pharisaical home, or if it’s truly one of cultivating deep relationships with you, their siblings, and with Jesus.
