2. The Hobbit, Part 2
In their second (and much longer) episode Cooper, Isaiah, Tanner, and Matthew talk about when and where they first experienced the Hobbit. They compare the movies to the book quite a bit (sorry 'bout that), and talk about what Tolkien would have said about the movies; namely the Elf-Dwarf love story. Then Cooper claims that the last 25% of the book is the weakest part and the others jump to the end's defense. Later on, they talk about why parents are more willing to let their kids read the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings over Harry Potter even though the Bible condemns magic of all shapes and sizes. Did they make a good case as to why parents let their kids read Tolkien rather than Rowling? Listen to find out.SUPPORT US HERE:https://patreon.com/bookinitTEXT US HERE!

1. The Hobbit, Part 1
In which Cooper Cobbs, Tanner Lewis, Isaiah Raetchi, and Matthew Killingsworth discuss and debate The Hobbit. In their first episode, they discuss Tolkien's unmatched style of writing. Later, Cooper endeavors (although he shouldn't have had to) to convince the others that (a) Tolkien is the best fantasy writer ever, and (b) that Gandalf is the OG wizard and Dumbledore is a rip-off. Hopefully, after the heated arguments—er, discussions, aforementioned, they all became friends again. But, did they??
