Tap Into the Supernatural: Chris Caputo
Cory and Brian interview Chris Caputo on our next nugget in disciple-making: Tap into the supernatural. All through the New Testament, we see the supernatural accompanying the movement of the Gospel. We also see it fully in the writings of the early church fathers and mothers up until the time of Constantine. We also see this now in global disciple-making movements. The supernatural, signs and wonders, are not just for another time and place. They are for us here and now.

Spotlight: Jason Gardiner
In this episode, Cory and Brian interview Jason Gardiner, a local disciple-making leader with the KC Underground. Jason has an extensive background in ministry from campus ministries reaching hundreds of students, to planting churches that became megachurches, to global stadium crusades. Now, he has intentionally stepped away from "professional ministry" to be a car salesman and an ordinary disciple-maker where he's consistently leading people in disciple-making relationships and reproducing leaders. Jason shares a few stories that are currently emerging in his context.

Celebrate the Little Things
In this episode, Cory and Brian kick off a new series for 2023 where we examine "nuggets in disciple-making." The purpose of this series is to offer simple tools, frameworks, or disciplines to everyday people who are committed to disciple-making. We want to step outside of the theoretical and deeply into the practical.
"Celebration of the little things helps us fight comparison, prevent burnout, increase our worship."

Michael "Sully" Sullivan - Psalm 8
We're kicking off a new year and a new prayer and podcast series for 2023. Every great move of God begins with cultivating extraordinary prayer and fasting. Tuesdays are a day of prayer and fasting for the KC Underground. The first Tuesday of each month in 2023 will feature a Psalm that will help our community to pray corporately. We hope you'll head over to the prayer page at KC Underground and download the guide. Today we will interview the author of these prayer guides, Mike "Sully" Sullivan, pastor of Emmaus City Church in Worcester, MA.

Multiplication
In the final week of this series on the Missionary Pathway, Cory and Brian discuss multiplication. While we certainly desire a multiplication of microchurches, that is not all we mean by this word. We want to see multiplication at every level: Prayer and fasting, Incarnational living, gospel planting, disciples made and more. Our hope is that by following in the rhythms and the ways of Jesus, multiplication will be a natural overflow.

Microchurch Emerges
In week four of this series on the Missionary Pathway, Cory and Brian discuss how microchurches emerge out of new disciple-making. This is phase four of the missionary pathway. As new disciples are made out of the harvest, new forms of the church are required. We discuss the definition the KC Underground holds for "church" and the rhythms of these extended spiritual families.
"We don't primarily put Christians into groups on the backside of a weekend service and call it a microchurch. We want to see new disciples made out of the harvest and extended spiritual families emerge."

Plant the Gospel
In this episode, Cory and Brian move the conversation in this mini-series on the Missionary Pathway to phase three: Plant The Gospel. We start this episode with a discussion about a more holistic understanding of the gospel. A better understanding of the gospel will help us more faithfully live out a gospel-centered life. The result is that we become a gospel presence in our networks where we can demonstrate and proclaim Good News.
"The Gospel that Jesus proclaimed was that the Kingdom of God has come near!"
