Davey and Kristi Blackburn of "Nothing is Wasted" share their testimony of tragedy, redemption, and how the Lord can transform pain into purpose. Davey is a writer, speaker, pastor, and podcaster. He is the creator of the Pain to Purpose Course and author of Nothing is Wasted: A true story of hope, forgiveness, and finding purpose in pain (Releasing Jan 2022) and The Pain to Purpose 42-Day Devotional. Kristi is a Physician Assistant who became a stay at home mom and now online wellness coach. She is a co-author of root + marrow cookbook, a collection of allergy-friendly, whole-food, full-flavored recipes for busy families. Her passion is empowering people to take back their health using food as medicine by addressing how they interact with the eight dimensions of wellness. Davey and Kristi founded Nothing is Wasted Ministries to help people partner with God to take back their story. Founder and CEO of the Sanctuary Project comes on to talk about her testimony of overcoming abuse and addiction. She also tells her healing journey story of how she learned to love again. Holly Christine Hayes is Founder + CEO of Sanctuary Project, a survivor-run nonprofit social enterprise employing and empowering women who’ve survived lives of trafficking, violence and addiction in Austin,TX. Holly was rescued out of a life of trauma nearly 20 years ago and knows the path to recovery can be long and rocky. Her vision and leadership create a safe space for other survivors to grow in practical skills, unleash their creativity, embrace their femininity, and heal their hearts – all in community with other survivors. Sanctuary Project was named "Business to Watch" by Austin Woman Magazine in 2020 and has been featured by media outlets such as Good Morning America, The Real and NBCLX. An award-winning author of the book From Basement to Sanctuary, Holly is passionate about sharing her vulnerable journey of healing. Vice president of a truck line in Memphis, Eric is deeply involved in his church and works a variety of jobs in sports on the side. When not at church or a game (or on the HOD FB page), Eric is usually playing with his nephews or planning/daydreaming his next national park vacation. Claudia, is a Texan who loves to worship, travel, cook, hike, Two step, and spend mornings at the beach. When she can, Claudia loves to lend a helping hand where she is able; helping and encouraging others brings her joy. Liam is a hotel night supervisor in Brisbane, Australia.
