We are the living stones being stacked together into a house where the Spirit dwells, and there’s a degree of the presence of God that we'll never experience unless we take the living stones of our lives and cement them together in gospel community. Peter's message to us is that our faith can be personal, but it's not designed to be private. Being in community is the framework for change in our lives. Support the show

Have you ever caught yourself thinking, "If I can just change ________, everything will be better"? Try as we may, no change we can ever make in ourselves is enough to fix the problem inside of us. The truth is that we are too broken to make a lasting change, and we are too weak to do it alone. The strength that we need is a strength that is not our own. Jesus purchased and gifted us the strength that we need to keep going when it feels like life is a marathon, and in times when we feel like we've hit a hill we can't pass, we can remember there was something who has already finished the marathon for us. Support the show
