#27 - Wait, We Forgot Our Introduction!

We've been through a wild ride together - from starting our relationship as teenagers to making the leap of faith and relocating across the country during a pandemic. Join us as we share our journey, discussing the importance of living together before marriage, dealing with the little quirks that can drive you crazy, and finding out if there are any deal breakers lurking beneath the surface. We hope our experiences and advice can help others navigate their own relationships, ultimately building a strong foundation for a lasting partnership. When faced with the pandemic, we decided to finally take the plunge and move out of Virginia. Packing up our lives in just a few weeks and adjusting to a new environment was both challenging and rewarding. With our adventures in the Clearwater area - including meeting Winter the dolphin - we've discovered that with a bit of sacrifice, anything is possible. Our relationship's success can be attributed to several factors, such as being best friends, supporting each other through the ups and downs, and understanding each other's love languages. We also touch on the struggles of budgeting, the delicate balance of co-dependency, and the challenge of finding time for romance. So, put on your headphones and join us for a heartwarming and hilarious look into our relationship and the reasoning behind the Unholy Union. --- Timestamps: (00:00:01) Introduction to the podcast (00:00:26) Talking about their relationship and how they started dating (00:06:18) Getting married and buying their first house (00:09:20) Deciding to move to Florida (00:19:04) Discussing their struggles and areas they need to work on (00:31:39) Codependency between the couple and their daughter (00:32:24) Struggle to find romance time (00:43:09) Discussion about the Mario movie and its potential impact

#25 - Is This Florida?

Oh geez, Florida! The state that gave us Florida Man, the guy who always ends up in the news doing something stupid. But you know what, Florida gets a bad rap. Yeah, sure, there's no safety inspections or emissions tests for cars, which is probably not helping the driving situation down there. And yeah, they're always portrayed as this crazy party town in the media, with reality shows like Real World Siesta Key. But you know what, there's some great stuff in Florida too. They have year-round outdoor play, community pools that never shut down, and some amazing wildlife like sandhill cranes. And not to mention, you can visit Cuba without leaving the US, thanks to a little park owned by Cuba in Tampa. So don't hate on Florida, it's not as weird as people make it out to be. --- Links used in this episode: Florida regains the title for lightning capital of the U.S. Florida's 'Shark Bite Capital of the World' Claims Two More Victims - ABC News Having summer fun?
