Be sure to check out my first episode with Harry in the show notes below. In this episode Harry shares with us his wealth of knowledge on the subject of Annuities. Annuities are a misunderstood and underused financial tool.  Consumers don’t understand them but should.  Americans in or near retirement are facing an income crisis and are scrambling to generate predictable cash from their accumulated assets.  There are few, if any, places to look to generate lifetime income streams.  Research has shown that consumers overlook annuities because they don't understand the products.  They don't understand how to use these products to create protected lifetime income. In his new book, The FinancialVerse:  Today's Annuities − A Tool to Create Protected Lifetime Income, Harry N. Stout takes his over twenty-year experience in the global annuity industry and presents an objective text to educate consumers on the ins and outs of how to use annuity products in income planning and to address longevity risk.  The book provides a clear roadmap on key consumer questions and concerns surrounding annuity products including:What Are Annuities and How Do They Work? The Core Benefits of AnnuitiesAnnuity Income Tax Benefits and NegativesAnnuity Product TypesWhy Buy An Annuity? The Major Positives and Negatives to Buying AnnuitiesHow Much Income Should I Plan For?Financial Strength Behind the ProductsWhere To Buy and The Buying ProcessYour Next Steps The book can be ordered at financialverse.com/annuity and through Amazon and major national book distributors.#BETTERWEALTHFor more information on BetterWealth or the content you hear on the Podcast visit us at www.betterwealth.com/podcast.Episode Links & Resources: Episode 296: How To Increase Your Personal Financial Literacy with Harry Stout https://youtu.be/B4DzqF-tfSw Guest Bio:  Harry N. How Much Can I Contribute to an And Asset?

In today's BetterWealth episode, I am sharing with you a clip from an episode I had done with Dominic Rufran and we discuss the question we get all the time “how much can I contribute to my AND Asset?” I specifically wanted to share this clip again as it’s own episode because it is misunderstood on the reasons and process that determines contribution amounts for each individual person. Listen as we discussed the criteria for determining how much you are able to contribute by human life value, cashflow and health. I also compare the underwriting process to a bank loan for a house and breakdown the principle behind why there are contribution limits. #BETTERWEALTHFor more information on BetterWealth or the content you hear on the Podcast visit us at www.betterwealth.com/podcast.#BetterWealth📞 Free 15 Minute Clarity Call: https://bttr.ly/ytclarity📕 The And Asset Book: https://bttr.ly/book💸 BetterWealth Quiz: https://bttr.ly/quiz👪 AndAsset.com: https://bttr.ly/andasset🎥 BetterWealth Youtube - https://bttr.ly/bwyoutube🤵🏼 Financial Advisor, Agent or Coach: https://bttr.ly/advisor

Why College Isn’t Right For Most Students with Praxis COO Mitchell Earl

Episode Description: In today's BetterWealth episode, I had the great honor of interviewing a dear friend, MItchell Earl, COO at Praxis and author of Don't Do Stuff You Hate. Praxis is a college alternative 12-month program that matches ambitious, hard-working young adults with full-time, paid apprenticeships at growing businesses. Listen as Mitchell and I talk about why college isn’t the right tool most people need for the outcome they want. Most college students rarely walk away with doing college correctly, by identifying the outcome they want and spending their money and time to obtain those goals. Most students walk away with crippling debt, a job that wasn’t what they got their degree from, and years of time spent in a classroom rather than building work experience. Listen as Mitchell shares why Praxis leads with the goal to give students an alternative route to college where they go into a program specifically designed to meet their desired needs and desired outcomes and coming out with more work experience, skill training and a job that pays more than the money they spent for their education. Mitchell also shares with me what makes students successful in college or the academic setting and why alternative options like Praxis help develop better success today in the workforce. I also ask Mitchell to discuss his money 101 philosophies. Listen as he talks about the mindset of capturing value. If you are interested in giving your child a different alternative to college Mitchell has graciously offered several amazing resources and a scholarship opportunity by checking out Praxis here: https://discoverpraxis.com/betterwealth/ #BETTERWEALTHFor more information on BetterWealth or the content you hear on the Podcast visit us at www.betterwealth.com/podcast.#BetterWealth📞 Free 15 Minute Clarity Call: https://bttr.ly/ytclarity📕 The And Asset Book: https://bttr.ly/book💸 BetterWealth Quiz: https://bttr.ly/quiz👪 AndAsset.com: https://bttr.ly/andasset🎥 BetterWealth Youtube - https://bttr.ly/bwyoutube🤵🏼 Financial Advisor, Agent or Coach: https://bttr.ly/advisor

2021 Economic Problems That Can Affect Our Money Today!

If we don’t understand the problem the solution doesn’t matter!Episode Description: In today's BetterWealth episode, I talk about the problems that you face today as it relates to your wealth and the outside forces that are working against us and hurting our chances of being successful in the future as it relates to our wealth. Albert Einstein once said “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” Listen as I walk through a few of the biggest problems I believe we as a society face when it comes to wealth creation. Problems such as inflation, low interest rates, fear, commercial leases, taxes, the 4% rule, spending more than we make, and low savings. But at the end of the day it is imperative that in our own personal/family economy we have a good grasp of the money we have coming in and how we can grow that, where the money is being spent and is it the most efficient or is there money being lost, and finally is the money that we are saving protracted and working in such a way that it will continue to support our lives in the future. #BETTERWEALTHFor more information on BetterWealth or the content you hear on the Podcast visit us at www.betterwealth.com/podcast.#BetterWealth📞 Free 15 Minute Clarity Call: https://bttr.ly/ytclarity📕 The And Asset Book: https://bttr.ly/book💸 BetterWealth Quiz: https://bttr.ly/quiz👪 AndAsset.com: https://bttr.ly/andasset🎥 BetterWealth Youtube - https://bttr.ly/bwyoutube🤵🏼 Financial Advisor, Agent or Coach: https://bttr.ly/advisor

Can You Pay Yourself Back Interest With Infinite Banking

Nelson Nash was obsessed with controlling capital and creating more volume to grow. In today's BetterWealth episode, Dom and I talk about a lot of myths around infinite banking. There are several misconceptions around infinite banking that has people coming to us asking questions like “If I take my money from my policy and pay it back with interest, is it true I get that interest back?” Dom and I talk about where these myths came from, how concepts from Nelson Nash have been twisted. Becoming your own banker had the primary principle of “saving more money” and have the ability to have more of a volume of money being controlled because Nelson was obsessed with controlling capital and creating more volume to grow. Also I describe how Nelson wanted to encourage more savings by the psychology of “paying yourself back” with a higher interest so you can develop better behavior when it comes to savings and control. Join me on YouTube as Dom and I illustrate the concept of policy loans and how they work in paying interest, paying the principal, or if you never pay your policy loan back, how that works. We answer the questions and myths about paying your policy back, the interest of your policy and some of Nelson’s psychology of money. #BETTERWEALTHFor more information on BetterWealth or the content you hear on the Podcast visit us at www.betterwealth.com/podcast.#BetterWealth📞 Free 15 Minute Clarity Call: https://bttr.ly/ytclarity📕 The And Asset Book: https://bttr.ly/book💸 BetterWealth Quiz: https://bttr.ly/quiz👪 AndAsset.com: https://bttr.ly/andasset🎥 BetterWealth Youtube - https://bttr.ly/bwyoutube🤵🏼 Financial Advisor, Agent or Coach: https://bttr.ly/advisor
