Episode 153: Breakups - When Do You Know It’s Over?

It's the month of Valentine’s Day, so I'm sure your feed is not short on sweet, lovey-dovey content about romance. But let's be real - romantic love isn’t all butterflies and rainbows, and especially in our mid-20s and onward, it often takes on a different weight. Romantic love during this period in life can be incredibly complex – working through each individual’s past relationship “traumas”, ourselves changing and figuring out who we are and what type of partner we are most compatible with, and not to mention differing communication styles and potentially different future goals that evolve during the relationship. Often times a breakup is not just a “change of heart”, but due to multiple factors. To kick-off "the month of love", we are dedicating an episode to that period when a romantic relationship starts to devolve, and eventually ends. Leave a 💔in the comments if you feel us on this topic! This episode was edited by Michelle Hsieh.___________________________L I S T E N E R S U R V E Y:Let us know your thoughts on the podcast hereP A R T N E R S mentioned in this episode:- Billie: Get your starter kit for just $9 + free shipping at mybillie.com/ABG- Oral Essentials: Get 15% off at getlumineux.com/abg- Magic Mind: Get 20% off with code ABG20 at magicmind.co/abg- Modern Fertility: Get $20 off your fertility test at modernfertility.com/ABG- TrueBill: Start canceling at truebill.com/ABGS H O U T O U T !- Give a shoutout on the podcast here.S U B S C R I B E T O U S !- @asianbossgirl on Apple Podcasts / Spotify / YouTube / Instagram / Twitter / Facebook- More about us at asianbossgirl.comE – M A I L U S !- hello@asianbossgirl.comS U P P O R T U S !- merch: asianbossgirl.myshopify.com- donation: anchor.fm/asianbossgirl/support Learn more about your ad choices. Episode 149: Future Self Journaling - New Year, Future Us

Welcome to a NEW YEAR! In this FIRST episode of 2022, we focus on goal setting in a non-traditional way. Instead of discussing our goals in a list format, we opted for a future self journaling exercise inspired by Jenn Im's vlog where she journals a "future day-in-the-life". This activity can help focus one's desires and goals. Listen in as Mel, Helen, and Janet each share a "future day-in-the-life". What do each of our journal entries reveal about the life we want? Try this exercise out yourself and let us know if you enjoy it!This episode was edited by Michelle Hsieh.______________L I S T E N E R S U R V E Y:Let us know your thoughts on the podcast hereP A R T N E R S mentioned in this episode:- Lumineux: Get 15% off your order at lumineuxhealth.com/abg.- Pill Club: Give $10 donation to bedsider.org for your purchase at thepillclub.com/abg- Preply: Get 50% off your first lesson at preply.com/ABG- Prose: Get 15% off your first order at prose.com/abg- Truebill: Save money at truebill.com/ABG- Silk + Sonder: Get 15% off a subscription with code ABG15OFF- StitchFix: Try Stitch Fix Freestyle at stitchfix.com/abg- ZocDoc: Sign up for free at zocdoc.com/abgS H O U T O U T !- Give a shoutout on the podcast here.S U B S C R I B E T O U S !- @asianbossgirl on Apple Podcasts / Spotify / YouTube / Instagram / Twitter / Facebook- More about us at asianbossgirl.comE – M A I L U S !- hello@asianbossgirl.comS U P P O R T U S !- merch: asianbossgirl.myshopify.com- donation: anchor.fm/asianbossgirl/support Learn more about your ad choices.
