Wisdom Wednesday with Anoushka Florence on feminine energy

On today’s Wisdom Wednesday I am joined by Anoushka Florence who is the author and founder of The Goddess Space. Inspired by her own spiritual journey, she went on a quest to create beautiful sacred spaces to support, hold and empower women. She’s worked with companies such as Facebook and Vogue and has travelled to some of the biggest festivals around the world to spread her intimate living room pop ups and honour her mission to bring people together in a special way. Anoushka draws upon her ancestral wisdom, her life experiences and the spiritual teachings she has learnt along the way. She has trained women worldwide on how to hold their own circles, committing to the deep intention of reclaiming the circle and restoring this ancient feminine practice. Her new book, The Women’s Circle, is so beautiful and I found it totally fascinating to learn about why coming together is so central to our history as a species and yet has been lost in the power struggles that have dominated our evolution. Find Anoushka:Instagram: @thegoddessspaceWebsite: thegoddessspace.comFind Poppy:Instagram: @poppyjamieDrop us an email at contact@notperfectpodcast.com Hosted on Acast. 111: The path to abundance with Deepak Chopra

Today’s podcast is with someone I admire so greatly. It is but a dream come true to have Deepak Chopra on the Not Perfect Podcast. The first book I read of Deepak Chopra’s was The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success in my early 20s and it was truly life changing. Deepak Chopra is a complete legend, he’s the author of more than ninety books translated into forty-three languages. He has changed the lives of millions of people through his literary work, his speeches, his app, his meditations, The Chopra Foundation and many more outlets. He has led the forefront of the health and wellbeing and consciousness movement. TIME Magazine described him as one of the top 100 heroes and icons of the century. His latest book, Abundance, is truly brilliant. It was like a bath for my soul and mind. I genuinely finished the book feeling so much more abundant than when I started and the change happened just through the process of reading this book. The subject of money and spirituality is a tricky one to navigate but this book clarifies the true meaning of money, desire and what it means to live abundantly and how to start thriving in every area of your life.Find more information on Deepak Chopra: Website: https://www.deepakchopra.com/Instagram: @deepakchopraWhere to find his new book, Abundance: https://www.deepakchopra.com/book/abundance/The Chopra Foundation: https://choprafoundation.org/A big thank you to our sponsor Athletic Greens. Wisdom Wednesday with Matt Rudd on male mental health

Matt Rudd is my guest on today’s Wisdom Wednesday and I’m so thrilled to have him. After reading his book, Man Down, I’ve been left pondering lots ever since. The book combines research with Matt’s own personal exploration about why mental health in men is so troubled and what are possible solutions. Matt is a Senior Writer on The Sunday Times, he’s an award-winning columnist and currently writes the column Man Trouble in The Sunday Times Magazine. He’s written three novels and two non-fiction books including Man Down which explores male mental health. The reason why this topic is so important to me is because I grew up understanding that men struggle with mental health just as much as women as my father went through many periods of chronic anxiety, depression and even now it can be a daily challenge to manage. Matt is on a mission to create emotional equality and I couldn’t be more supportive. He’s passionate about creating a culture that allows all humans to process their emotions, regardless of what they look like or identify as.Find Matt: Twitter: @MattRuddBook: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Man-Down-Unhappy-What-About/dp/0349424810/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTColumn: https://www.thetimes.co.uk/profile/matt-rudd?page=1 Hosted on Acast. Wisdom Wednesday with Emma Haslett and Gabby Griffith (authors of Big Fat Negative) on fertility

On today’s Wisdom Wednesday, I am talking to the fabulous podcasters and authors of Big Fat Negative, Emma Haslett and Gabby Griffith. I’ve been so looking forward to this podcast episode as infertility and the impact on mental health is a topic we haven’t really covered. Emma and Gabby launched their chart-topping podcast that’s entirely focused on the trials of trying for a baby. After realising that 1 in 6 couples struggle to conceive, the conversation around infertility was not being had publicly and instead those facing difficulty were left feeling isolated and alone. Emma and Gabby are on a mission to normalise and provide a different tone to the conversation and I am here for it. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
