Joe is out for a few weeks to spend time with his new baby. This time around we thought we'd try to go a little more on-brand for Sanderlanche content. So we're reading new Sanderson stuff! I've picked out some stand-alone short stories and novellas we can read for a few weeks without Joe feeling like he's missing out on much. First up is Firstborn, the first sci-fi story Brandon ever published. We've arrived at a mysterious temple high up in the mountains, and things are taking a decided Indiana Jones-esque turn in this book. Or The Golden Child? Maybe it's Ace Ventura 2: When Nature Calls. If there's a slinky scene next week I'm either all the way in or all the way out. Anyway, as we creep up on the end of the book, the crew is spinning some wonderful theories this week. Really deep stuff. I think you'll be excited for predigments on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche! 

We finally meet Telsin, and every person on our podcast crew is convinced she must be a secret bad guy. Are they right? Well, too soon to tell. Beyond that, we've got a firefight and a flying ship to contend with in these chapters. So see what everyone thinks of these developments on this week's episode of The Sanderlanche!

It's time to invade a ... warehouse. Ok, so that's not terribly dramatic sounding, but believe me, it's pretty intense. In these chapters our characters learn some interesting things about an eldritch device or two and then plan an infiltration. The podcast crew has mixed reactions.
