S10 Ep6: The Good Glow with Dr Libby Weaver
She is hugely successful and is often referred to as a 'woman whisperer'. On this podcast she explains why we should care more about ourselves, how we can quieten down that inner voice that is tearing us down, that voice that's terrible for our self confidence, telling us we are not doing enough, we are not good enough. I was stressed for 12 years before I got sick, I pushed myself day in day out, until everything fell apart. I heard Gerry Hussey say before 'if we don't make time for our health someday we will be forced to make time for our illness' that is exactly what happened to me. I hope as you listen to this podcast with Dr. Libby that you will realise that you are precious and you deserve the best.

S10 Ep4: The Good Glow - Together We Thrive
I'm joined by two very special guests Emma Cassidy and Martine Dines as they take us through their breast cancer diagnosis. Emma was diagnosed just before me and has since become one of my best friends. Today she’ll tell me about how she dealt with being told she had the BRCA gene and how the most unexpected miracle took place when she least expected it.
Martine was 29 when she was diagnosed this summer. Thousands of miles from her family, the Australian community down under threw their arms around her and campaigned for her family to join her even though the boarders were closed. This is a gripping story of determination and love.

S9 Ep12: The Good Glow with Dan Buettner
My guest this week is Dan Buettner. He’s a New York Times best-selling author and founder of The Blue Zones. Dan discovered the five places in the world, called blue zones hotspots, where people live the longest, healthiest lives. They are the Barbagia region of Sardinia, Ikaria in Greece, the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica, Loma Linda in California and Okinawa, Japan.
Over a number of years, Dan teamed up with National Geographic to go to these ‘blue zones’ and study their people. What were they doing differently? How do they live? And what’s their secret? Dan found 9 common lifestyle habits in these regions, which he called the Power 9.
Today, Dan takes me through their rituals (some may surprise you) and tells us how we can adapt this 'blue zone lifestyle' in our own homes.
Dan’s books:
The Blue Zones Kitchen
The Blue Zones of Happiness
The Blue Zones Solution
