Trương Anh Thụy sinh ngày 16 tháng 6, 1936 tại Hà Nội, di cư vào Nam năm 1954, du học tại Hoa Kỳ năm 1961, hiện sống với chồng và con trai tại Virginia (Hoa Kỳ). Có một thời gian dài, tại đây bà được sống chung với nghiêm phụ là cụ Tá Chi Trương Cam Khải, họa gia môn thủy mặc, và với thân mẫu là nữ sĩ Kim Y Phạm Lệ Oanh. Cả hai cụ đã khuất núi từ cuối thế kỷ XX. Ðược huấn luyện trong ngành sư phạm, bà đã theo đuổi nghề dạy học cho tới ngày về hưu. Bên cạnh đó, bà đã đóng góp, từ trước 1975, vào các công tác từ thiện, xã hội trong cộng đồng Việt Nam ở hải ngoại. Một trong những sáng lập viên của hội từ thiện Vietnam Refugee Fund Inc (1975). Trong nhóm sáng lập và làm chủ tịch chi nhánh vùng Hoa Thịnh Ðốn (1987) của Ủy Ban Báo Nguy Giúp Người Vượt Biển (Boat People S.O.S. Committee), trụ sở chính đặt tại San Diego (California). Ba năm sau bà là một trong những người  sáng lập ra Boat People SOS, Inc., (Ủy Ban Cứu Người Vượt Biển) trụ sở chínhđặt tại Virginia. Bà làm chủ tịch đầu tiên trong Ban Quản Trị của Ủy Ban này. Sinh trưởng trong một gia đình yêu trọng văn học, bà không khỏi chịu ảnh hưởng của nếp nhà. Bà làm văn, làm thơ và còn có tham vọng mở nhà xuất bản. Năm 1984 bà thành lập nhà xuất bản Tủ Sách Cành Nam (Canh Nam Publishers). Năm sau, bà đã cùng với Hội Văn Hóa Việt Nam tại Bắc Mỹ của GS Nguyễn Ngọc Bích và Nhóm Xác Ðịnh của GS Đặng Đình Khiết thành lập Tổ Hợp Xuất Bản Miền Ðông Hoa Kỳ. Bà cộng tác với nhiều báo chí ở hải ngoại từ đầu cuộc di tản và đã từng giữ chức vụ phó chủ tịch Văn Bút Việt Nam Hải ngoại, nhiệm kỳ 1991-1993, (thời nhà văn/nhà thơ Trang Châu làm chủ tịch.)  Thơ của Trương Anh Thụy đã được dịch sang tiếng Anh do Nguyễn Ngọc Bích (War & Exile, A VietnameseAnthology, Vietnamese P.E.N., East Coast U.S.A., 1989, và A Mother’sLullaby, Cành Nam, 1989); Huỳnh Sanh Thông (An Anthology of Vietnamese Poems, New Haven: Yale University Press, 1996); Văn của bà được giới thiệu trên những diễn đàn như tạp chí Indochina Chronology (tháng 7-9, 1990) và tại hội nghị quốc tế hằng niên của Hội Á Ðông Học (Association of Asian Studies, 25-28 tháng 3, 1993).  Truyện ngắn của bà được giới thiệu trong tuyển tập 20 Năm Văn học Việt Nam hải ngoại (Ðại Nam xb, 1995) và G.S. Nguyễn Ðình Hòa cũng đã điểm sách cuốn Trạm nghỉ chân trong World Literature Today của Ðại học Oklahoma (1994).  Sự nghiệp văn học của Trương Anh Thụy được nhắc đến trong The Oxford Companion to Women’s Writing in the United States (Oxford University Press, 1995.) Ngoài ra bà cũng có mục riêng trong từ điển Tác Giả Việt Nam / Vietnamese Authors do Lê Bảo Hoàng sưu tập (Sóng Văn, 2005).   Tác phẩm đã xuất bản: Của mưa gửi nắng (tập thơ, 1984); Trường ca Lời mẹ ru (kèm theo bản dịch Anh ngữ của học giả Nguyễn Ngọc Bích và 30 bức minh họa của họa sĩ Võ Ðình, 1989); Trạm nghỉ chân (tập 1, trong bộ trường giang Chuyển mùa);  Ánh mắt (tập truyện,1998); Chuyển mùa (bộ trường giang tiểu thuyết, 2004, đoạt giải văn học của Hội Quốc Tế Y Sĩ Việt Nam Tự Do). Năm nay, 2021, ở tuổi 85, giữa mùa đại dịch, bà cũng như toàn dân trên thế giới bị giam hãm tại nhà, bà dùng thời giờ để gói ghém vài công việc dở dangnhư việc xuất bản của Tổ Hợp Xuất Bản Miền Đông Hoa Kỳ và Tủ Sách Cành Nam; kiểm kê một Tủ Sách Gia Đình gồm các sách cũ do song thân để lại và sách tặng của các văn thi hữu bốn phương được tích lũy qua nhiều năm tháng. Thời giờ còn lại bà tìm đọc sách Phật để thấu nghĩa sự “vô thường” của trời đất./. Tamae is a Vietnamese American singer, songwriter, vocal producer, and DJ. She discovered her love for music early on and has recently signed with Empire + Roseville Music Group to leverage her genre-blending, versatile songwriting style and has made samples for various well-known producers, such as, Grammy-winning producer Illmind, Prezident Jeff, Francis Got Heat, and Boi1da. Although Tamae didn't see many Vietnamese Americans reflected in the music industry while growing up, she decided to pursue music anyways. Dr Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai (pronounced ŋwiən fα:n kwe mai) is an award-winning writer and journalist. She is the author of eleven books of poetry, short fiction and non-fiction in Vietnamese and English. Her writing in Vietnamese has received the 2010 Poetry of the Year Award from the Hanoi Writers Association, the Capital’s Literature & Arts Award, and First Prize in the Poetry Competition celebrating 1,000 Years of Hanoi. Her debut novel and first book in English, THE MOUNTAINS SING, is an International Bestseller, a New York Times Editors' Choice Selection, Winner of the 2020 BookBrowse Best Debut Award, Winner of the Blogger's Book Prize 2021, Winner of the 2021 International Book Awards, and Winner of the 2020 Lannan Literary Award Fellowship for "a work of exceptional quality" and for "contribution to peace and reconciliation".
