Uyen Le is currently the chef owner of Bé Ù in Los Angeles. Bé Ù opened in February 2021 and is a reflection of Chef-Owner Uyen Le's Vietnamese heritage and Southern California upbringing. It stands as a safe place for people from diverse backgrounds to work and hone their craft. Bé Ù seeks to make fresh and flavorful food at affordable prices while creating a safe, supportive, and professionally-rewarding environment for its team members.Before coming into the LA food scene, Uyen was the Research Director and Partnerships Director at the UCLA California Construction Academy (CCA) for 4 years. The CCA is a project of the UCLA Center for Labor Research and Education. Uyen led the Construction Sector Intermediary Program, which seeks to create quality construction career opportunities by building innovative and diverse partnerships in the construction industry. Uyen also served as a Dan Than fellow for the National Alliance of Vietnamese American Service Agencies (NAVASA), where she worked as a community organizer and economic development specialist in the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina. Born and raised in Southern California and Saigon Vietnam, the multi-disciplinary artist grew updrawing surreal worlds influenced by a myriad of concepts, such as 70s LP artwork, obscure zines, nostalgic rave, graffiti, and US Asian culture.Continually pushing ideas and honing crafts, Dan maintains a delicate balance between personal and client based creative projects. He releases records and performs live as Demonslayer, curates and produces events and happenings all over the globe, designs and paints murals, daily involvement in multitude of tasks grounded in ideology and creation.Dan’s music and production journey has taken him on stage twice at Coachella, in addition to touring and jamming all over the world. Oanh Thu Thi Ly was born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She immigrated to America as a boat refugee and grew up in Houston, Texas. She studied playwriting at the University of Texas at Austin where she was a recipient of a James Michener Playwriting Fellowship.She started her TV writing career on the hit CBS crime show  Criminal Minds.  Other broadcast credits include the Bad Robot/NBC show Revolution, The Messengers for CW,  Black Box for ABC, and  The Catch for Shondaland/ABC.  Streaming credits include Sweet Tooth and the entire run ofThe Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Currently, she is writing a TV pilot based on an Archie Comics for Warner Brothers Studios with fellow Vietnamese Texan, Viet Nguyen. She mentors young writers at the Blank Theatre Young Playwrights Festival, where she got her start in Los Angeles over twenty years ago.She lives in Culver City with her husband, Ron, and daughter, Linh. Tony Vu, founder of Flint Social Club, has been invested in building community and countering the toxic culture of the food world since his start in the industry. As chef/owner of noodle stall MaMang in the Flint Farmers’ Market, he’s committed to paying living wages to his employees and fostering a safe and supportive work culture. As executive chef/partner of fast casual restaurant The Good Bowl in Traverse City, he’s built upon these values and expanded them to create a business model that gives back to the community. The Good Bowl’s dollar per bowl donation model has raised and donated over $100,000 to mostly local charities in 3 years of operation. 2022 Grammy nominated Vietnamese American singer, multimedia artist and producer, modern-day Renaissance woman, and vocal powerhouse Sangeeta Kaur (Teresa Mai) is a singular talent.Sangeeta’s body of work is both cinematic in scope and spans a wide range of genres such as Classical, New Age, Contemporary and Spiritual. Sangeeta earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Opera Performance from the Bob Cole Music Conservatory at California State University, Long Beach; and a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.While traveling the world as a classical vocalist, Sangeeta was introduced to the power of spiritual mantra as well as the discipline of yogic practices which has greatly influenced her musical expression. As she says, “My life’s mission is to create and share music that brings joy and positive transformation to the listener.”So far she has released five award-winning albums: Niguma, Ascension, Mirrors, Compassion and Illuminance.
