252: Sanctify Your Soul-Care
Announcement:Today is THE day, my friends. For weeks, I have been mentioning that the Self-Assured Motherhood Program, or SAM as I like to call it, would be opening for enrollment soon, and I am excited to announce that doors for enrollment are OPEN now and will close again on Friday, September 23rd. This nine-month program only opens once per year, so if this has been tugging at your heart, please don't wait or talk yourself out of it. The first step is to sign up to attend a free online class that I will be teaching several times live over the next two weeks. This isn't just a sales webinar…this is actually the first class of my nine-month curriculum, so you can get a taste of what the program is like, even if you aren't sure you can commit to the entire program. Just go to 3in30podcast.com/freeclass to sign up, and the first class is tonight if you are listening to this episode on the day it comes out, so don't wait. I will be offering the same class several more times, so whenever you are listening to this episode, go to 3in30podcast.com/freeclass to find out more.***In honor of the Self-Assured Motherhood Program enrollment opening today, we are going to talk about one of the nine foundational topics that we explore in this program. When I emailed the alumni of the program and asked which topic had had the most impact on them personally, so many of them mentioned this unit- Sanctify Your Soul-Care, and they shared with me super poignant and powerful stories of how they had applied this concept into their lives, so I actually invited three of those women to come on the podcast today to share those stories with all of you--because I think every mom could probably use some help in this area. Introducing the "Minimal-ish" Podcast
Hello friends! This is a surprise mini-episode as part of a fun new series I am doing once a month where I introduce you to other wonderful podcasts that might bless and benefit your life. These shows are all produced by or part of the podcast network that I am apart of, Cloud10 Media. It has been so rewarding for me to collaborate with other podcasters who are working hard to get their important messages out into the world. Today I am excited to share a little bit about the show Minimal-ish. Minimal-ish is a podcast about striving to live with less of the things that don't matter, more of what does, and pursuing intention in every area of our everyday lives and motherhood. The host, Desirae talks about a realistic version of minimalism that isn't just about simplifying our stuff, but also the other areas of our lives like our calendars, routines, mindset, motherhood, work, finances, and everything in between. Desirae is a mom to two girls (4 months and 4 years), a high school English teacher, and has been podcasting since 2018. Her passion is sharing what she is learning on the journey of living with less stuff and more intention, along with making space for others to share their stories as well. For today’s mini episode, we are airing a clip about how oftentimes, clutter represents unmade decisions. Desirae poses some questions to ask yourself while decluttering any area of your home like: Is this item useful to me? Have I used this item in the past in the 1-2 months? Do I have plans to use this item in the near future? Do I have space for this item? Is it a gift? In this clip, you get an idea of Desirae’s thought process for making decisions that we have been putting off, and evaluating what’s really worth keeping. I’m so glad to be sharing this excerpt from the Minimal-ish podcast. After you listen, be sure to head over to the Minimal-ish feed to listen to the entire episode, which I will link in the show notes so it's easy for you to find. So with no further ado, here is a clip from Desirae of the Minimal-ish Podcast! Click here to listen on AppleOr listen in any podcast app!

248: 3 Small Shifts that Lead to Soul Shifts // Rachel Macy Stafford
I first encountered the work of Rachel Macy Stafford in 2015 when she was a guest on one of the very first podcasts I ever listened to. Today, we will be talking all about soul-shifts: what they are and how we can start to make them in our own lives as mothers. I can't wait for you to hear my conversation with a mentor I have loved from afar for a lot of years. 247: How do I get my kids to go to bed?? // Becca Campbell
When my kids were babies and toddlers, we had a rock-solid bedtime routine that my husband and I were completely in control of. We picked our babies up and went through our night-time routine before placing them in their cribs. But now that my kids are older, they push back way more on bedtime, especially in the summer when it stays light outside so late. It's hard for me to know if I should monitor every step of their bedtime routine so I can keep them moving along or if I should give them more privacy and independence. With the new school year approaching, and needing to get back to a routine, I called in a sleep expert to interview on the podcast today.Becca Campbell is a certified pediatric sleep consultant and the CEO and founder of Little Z’s Sleep (www.littlezsleep.com) and The Sleep Sorority. She has guided tens of thousands of families through the exhausting world of getting your child to sleep and is trusted by pediatric clinics and medical specialists across the country. Becca is also the host of the #3 globally-ranked pediatric podcast, Little Z's Sleep Podcast, and her expertise has been featured in outlets like Parents magazine, NBC news, yahoo!Life, and Toddler Purgatory. As a CEO, wife, and mother of two, she understands the importance of restful, restorative sleep, so she’s dedicated to helping families prioritize good sleep. For full show notes, including the three takeaways, go to https://3in30podcast.com/247-Becca-Campbell***Episode sponsors:
