15: Demystifying the Facebook Pixel, Standard Events and Custom Conversions
Send us a textToday, I am demystifying the Facebook Pixel, standard events and custom conversions. Having your pixel installed into the code on your website allows Facebook to understand who’s interested in your content and helps them find the perfect student for your online course. The Facebook pixel code sends website visitor information back to Facebook so that you can track customer actions on your site. This helps you create smarter Facebook ad campaigns and saves you money over time.Even if you don’t plan on doing Facebook ads anytime soon, you will still want to install the pixel on your website and online course sales funnel pages right away to plan for the future and start collecting data.Specifically, I discuss:1. What is the Facebook pixel and why it's important for selling your online course. 2. How you can test to see if your Facebook pixel has been installed on your website and landing pages. 3. What are standard events and custom conversions and how they're used to track the results of your online course sales funnel. Episode show notes: https://destinicopp.com/podcast/15

9: Should you start a podcast for your online course community?
Send us a textIn this episode, we’re talking about whether or not you should you start a podcast for your online course community. I recently switched from blogging to podcasting as my main content marketing strategy and absolutely love it. What I love about podcasting is that it gives me a perfect opportunity to connect with my audience. I feel that you’re right here in my office and I’m chatting with you on a 1:1 basis. Seriously? What could be more perfect than that??? There’s something so personal about hearing someone’s voice that you don’t get from a blog post. I also like doing podcasting over doing Facebook lives because, in my experience, it’s so difficult to catch someone on the Facebook highway. And when they’re so busy like me and you...it's almost impossible to catch them! But with a podcast episode, it’s right there for them on their phone and they can listen at anytime it’s convenient for them.
