After the 2020 election season, many came to the realization that our election system needs significant reforms. In fact, we have actually seen a lot of victories on this front in 2021. But as states pass laws, they are experiencing pushback from left-leaning groups, and the Biden DOJ. That's why The Heritage Foundation has developed an incredible tool called the Election Integrity Scorecard. It analyzes the election laws of every state and grades them on how well they protect the security and integrity of the election process. It’s great context to help understand what has been done, and what more can be done to make it so it's easy to vote, and hard to cheat. On this episode, we talk with Hans von Spakovsky. We are seeing video of trains rolling through Russia, moving tanks, guns, and ammo to the eastern Ukraine.  It looks very similar to video footage we saw back in 2014, when Putin moved troops into Ukraine and annexed Crimea.  Journalists on the ground are reporting a lot of different things about Putin’s intentions and how this will play out.  Lots of voices, lots of confusion, and massive potential implications. Our friend, Rush Limbaugh, used to read George Washington's Thanksgiving Proclamation of 1789 every year on the air. It was always so inspiring. While it's great to eat food, watch football, spend time with family, and go around the table to say what we’re thankful for, he also believed Thanksgiving was an opportunity to thank God for the greatness of this Nation, and realize how blessed we are to have our liberty, protected by The Constitution. We all remember seeing the horrific scenes in Afghanistan, after the withdraw of our troops. We saw it played out in real time, and several commentators said this will certainly lead to less freedom and more oppression as the Taliban retakes control. Now, Afghanistan has been moved off the front pages, and few people are talking about what's happening on the ground and in the region.
